... You know, if they'd bothered to repair and bring the San Onofre nuclear facility back online after the last big power outage we had here, this probably wouldn't be a problem.

As it is, I get to stare at its empty useless shell on my way to work after cursing thirty blocks of unlit traffic signals. Thank you, State of California! [/sarc]

Soon my business shall be ready. Slowly things are coming together, but I much prefer things to be done right. I truly enjoy being the boss now, it is such a different story when you are.

I'm thinking of enrolling Lian in summer camp. I've been looking at different places, but don't know how to choose. Anyone know anything about any of the summer camps in the area?

Also, these power outages are a real inconvenience, ya know. I called the electric company last night and they said they're working on it. Well that's good to know. For anyone who missed it, there was some sarcasm in that last part there.

Filter: Fire Pit Party Pals
Given the recent developments, I'm not so certain our partying is well-timed. Then again, few things I do are ever timed properly. That is to say: would you all still like to go or perhaps postpone it for when it is I return?

Well, here's to our flight not being cancelled, eh?

Never a dull moment around here. Bit anxious for leaving now.

Lawn Chair Crisis has their first show this Saturday night at, [name of club]. In case anyone doesn't know who Lawn Chair Crisis is, that's my band. Well, it's our new name. Matt thought it sounded better for our West Coast debut. Hope to see everyone there.

My dreams seem to have skipped a couple of years and now I've been asked to join a group called the Inquisition by Leliana. Not only is Leliana there, but so is Cassandra. I guess even in the dreams we're like the Three Amigos.

Bloody hell, I was totally right about my Dreams being like a spy movie.

Apparently Harry works for a spy organization called The Kingsman and he has decided that I should be his candidate for the position they have open. I agreed to it, mainly to get away from my step-father, but mostly because he's certainly peaked my interest. Needless to say, this is going to be incredibly interesting because the man that greets us tells us "Welcome to the most dangerous job interview" and then informs us we should write down our next of kin information down and attach it to the body bags provided.

Doesn't help there's a lot of posh jerks hanging around waiting to see someone like me completely fail. I'm damn determined not to. At least I surived the first test, which was the entire sleeping quarters filling up with water and I smashed through a two-way mirror, but unfortunately one the candidates died. They were certainly not joking.

All right, everyone. I'm tired of putting this off, so here it is, the official announcement for my house warming/beach party. Which will now also be a Fourth Of July extravaganza.

I have a huge house in Laguna Beach with a private beach, a pool, and a very awesome lighthouse. Everyone is more than welcome, bring whatever you'd like, but there will be food and drinks. Obviously. And fireworks. Because what sort of extravaganza would it be without fireworks.
