If there's one thing I like about being a vampire, it's that I don't get drunk as easily anymore. I don't miss hangovers at all. Wouldn't be this coherent after downing half a bottle of tequila if I were still human. Can't say the same for Annie though. She's a bit tipsy right now. Probably shouldn't let her have any more.

The things one does for family.

People like to talk about their dreams. You can learn a lot about a person from the things they choose to talk about, and the things they choose to omit.

Mine remain pleasant, save for the fact those in my employ there are just as... in need of disciplinary action as some of the ones I'm actually paying. idiot goblins

Just wanted to let people know, if you've got PTSD, either from being in the military or from something else, go ahead and drop me a line. I'm willing to listen, and believe me I'm not going to judge.

Mistakes were made last night.

So much tequila, so many regrets. Everything hurts.

Today is National Nurses Day so I brought some cupcakes and cookies in from Baxter's for the nurses in my ward. They deserve so much more than that, considering the things they do, but the rest of the week is Nurses Appreciation Week, so I'm sure they'll get more.

I hadn't realized that today was National Nurses Day too. It's also National Teachers Day, which is ironic, because in real life, I'm a teacher, but in the dreams I'm a nurse. Both professions appreciated on the same day. I got some baked goods and cards from my students today, which was nice, but I don't do this job for that reason. I teach, because I want to help kids, but it's a nice perk.

Someone tell me not to get another dog.
