How is this even fair that I am getting sick again? I just got over the flu, two weeks ago. Mum better make enough soup for two. Both me and the elephant on my chest.

It seems I might have picked the wrong time of year to move to this country, if everyone is getting sick. I'm Lúthien.

I dreamt of my father last night, and Oriana. It's good to know he's just as much an arse in the dreams as he is in real life.

Probably a little more insane in the dreams, though. I'll give them that much.

Not only were quite a few of my students absent today, but an additional five went home sick during the day. I think I'll be stopping at the drug store on my way home to get some vitamin C and other vitamins so that I don't also get sick.

It seems I'm not the only one who's feeling dreadful lately. I'm suffering through it for my students' sake, though I hope I'm not spreading this thing any further.

Half of my students are gone, and half of those remaining are wearing masks.

Anybody know a good florist? Figure it's the least I can do for accidentally shootin' a big fuck-off hole in our neighbor's door with my powers.

Getting a little scared, I don't mind tellin' you all. Found a pack of cards in the apartment I didn't buy. When I picked 'em up I could sorta charge 'em with the power.

And now this flu thing goin' round? Half a mind to lock myself in the apartment and not go nowhere.

I only got about three hours of sleep last night. The influx at the hospital is insane. This one's bad, this flu epidemic. I don't know if I've caught it, I feel fine, but I think it's affected my dreams. I had bizarre dreams last night about outer space on a space ship.

I knew I shouldn't have fallen asleep watching Lost in Space last night.

Great. Now I'm not feeling well.

Well I won't be doing much sleeping this weekend.

Between everyone getting sick and me dreaming about serial killers chasing me with hammers every night (right after they kill an eleven-year-old right in front of me, of course), I apparently look like I haven't gotten any sleep in a week and Mum's keeping me home from school. They're apparently being pretty cautious anyway, so they're okay with me starting late.

Does anyone want to go out and do something? I really need something happy in my life. Every time I close my eyes I see her crying, covered in blood, trying to play. It's worrisome.

How intriguing! Before I'm lured away from my lab again, I would quickly like to say what a riveting little influenza virus this is. It is still at the early stages where I am giddily waiting to monitor it's progress after the preliminary stages of infection set in.

A sneeze can spread germs for around twelve to fifteen feet and sometimes even farther, if the air has less water vapor through humidity or it is a region that is naturally more arid. That is 40,000 droplets of fun expelled out of people's faces.

I know this much: This flu season will be rather unfortunate for the mouthbreathers of this world.

I haven't had a cold like this since I was a kid.

Today I fucked up. Today I fucked up really badly, and I can't even start to make it right. This is the most catastrophic, most disgusting, most destructive thing that I have ever done. I thought the bomb would take it out, I thought the people had already been evacuated. I thought...

Thank God no one was killed. Thank God the injures weren't severe...
