So, I've sunk into the depths of despair depression a bad funk.

The concert went really well. A lot of people recognized me, which was weird at first, but then it was nice. I guess. I don't know. Maybe not. I feel like crap now. I mean, what happens next, you know?

So I just spent an hour searching for this dream guy. I've narrowed it down to two possibilities.

Does everybody know just how reliant on tea the British are? It's crazy, wherever we are there is always somebody around to offer it.

Olympic prep is going well, interviews start soon which is fun for the stylists though not for all of the competitors. I'm trying to make it as fun and relaxed as I can though.

My practice is re-opening on Monday and I'm going back to work. It's only part time at first, but it's a step in the right direction. I hope I haven't lost too many patients over all of this nasty business.

Also in a magical turn of events the insurance company finally finished their appraisal and I'm happy to say I'll be getting enough money back to buy a new place. It'll be something smaller and hopefully closer to work. I might even have a little money left over to get myself a new car since the old one was also destroyed in the fire.

So, all in all? Things are looking up and I'm fully recovered. physically anyway I really wasn't sure there for a while that this day would ever come.

My apartment hasn't had just me in it in I don't know how long, but at least I'm back at work now. I've been so busy catching up with everything this week I haven't had a chance to read the net, let alone post to it. Not that I usually do. I'm babbling

While I was away from work I started work on that database of the Klingon language. It's almost a complete collection of the language. I want to add a few more rules and the pronunciation guide, but I should be done by this weekend if you still want to take a look.

Looking for new interns as last intern spontaneously combusted.

Must have a love of science. Must be physically fit as duties include extreme athletics and heavy lifting. Must possess good transcribing skills. Must understand basic formulas or at least be able to write them down accurately.

Wbat exactly happened to me Tuesday? I remember the caffeine, and I'd picked up extras like I usually do. But then I started hallucinating and my heart was racing and it HURT about a second,and then I woke up in an ambulance, with some dickhead shouting orders about what to do with me and how only family could hitch a ride with them. I GUESS someone was arguing with them about it, and there's about three guesses as to who that was. No seriously about three people from there would try.

And now I'm mostly stuck in a hospital bed, bored, and being told not to move around too much, and hooked up to this stupid monitor that beeps whenever I try to take it off. I also want this oxygen tube OUT of my nose, and the IV's out of my arm. I hate just about all these things, and that, for some reason, I can't access my remote connection to work via my tablet.

The nurses weren't even that happy about letting me post here. They said if I went to the valarnet, there were bound to be more strippers showing up, and that was bad for my heart. I'm going to be here at least a couple of days stabilizing.

Who'd have thought the thing that I love most could be so deadly?

We should invite Graham and his girlfriend to dinner! He was wonderful to be with and I'd like to thank him properly. Besides he is an unofficial cousin now.

This has been the longest week and I cannot wait for Friday night.

If Ventura had brought silver platters to last night's game they would have held our asses by the end of the night. Not only did they shut us out, but we let them have four damn goals. At least we've got two weeks to recover before our second game against Tucson.

Anyway, a mix of hangover with sore shins is not the best feeling in the morning to wake up to. I'm just glad I can head out to the beach with my chair and just sit and watch the ocean. I don't know how people that live too far inland survive without the wind and the waves to help them relax.
