I don't get the appeal of Pokemon Go. I can't be the only one. A girl paused in spinning class today because a pikachu was in the middle of the gym. She stopped peddling because of an imaginary animal. This boggles my mind.

I have had too much free time on my hands this summer. I didn't realize med school took up so much of my time until I had sometime off. Maybe I should have taken summer classes.

Anyway, not the point. Anyone have any suggestions for how to spend the last few weeks of summer? I don't think I can handle anymore Netflix.

I wish I'd been able to go to Comic Con this past weekend. I spent all weekend following all the coverage from the panels and watching all the trailers. So many movies and shows I can't wait to see. I was almost tempted to drive to San Diego just to see all the cosplays and everything. Next year I'm gonna try to get tickets again for sure. Maybe Izzy and Clary will come too.

You know you really love your boyfriend when you go out in the middle of the night to catch pokemon with him. I don't know if this counts as a date night.

Well, sprained my wrist. It shouldn't get in the way of work too much considering most of what I do is teach a spinning class, but it might get in the way of self-defense classes. This is a pain. At least most of the people who come to class already know most of the moves. Maybe I can get a volunteer to help me.

Am I allowed to be one of those disgustingly happy people for a minute and say I got my first roommate, who is my boyfriend, and I feel like my face is sore from smiling so much over it? Because this is all true. Christ, my life is the complete opposite of my dream self.

In other news, if you're looking for a personal trainer, I have some open time slots. Just don't expect me to go easy on you.

It's that time of year...

My lease is almost up and I need to start looking at a new place to live. Anyone know of any places that are open? I would be okay with sharing a place, with someone, as I am more on the social side.

Later this month, my boyfriend turns twenty one. Still trying to figure out if I'm robbing the bloody cradle or not. Don't think so, but some people might think it. Anyway, back to the point of this post, his birthday is this month and I want to throw him a party. After the shite that goes on in his dreams, he deserves it. This is partly to find out who is friends with Josh Washington on here and to see if anyone knows of a good male stripper. Yes, I've planned parties with male strippers before, but I want the best for this party.

How does one go about getting a tetanus shot? I woke up with this nasty little carpet tack in my foot and I think it would be best to take every possible precaution.

I said "yes," but the timing was odd. Only in the sense that he and I were in the middle of a video game, and I was partially stunned and I died. However, I couldn't be happier. My boss was starting to hint at us getting together, ever since we attended his dinner party, a few weeks back.

I bought an Xbox One and several games to play with Danny. Didn't know my life was missing smashing zombies with an arsenal of melee weapons.

And my dreams rear their dramatic head once again. A friend of mine was beat up as he was leaving a club so the community got together to try and decide what we should do to try and make Liberty Ave safer for us. One guy said we had to take matters into our own hands and after my friend refused to pick his attackers out of a lineup, I started getting upset about my own bashing and how I didn't do anything to my attacker so I ended up joining this other guy and his group, which he'd called The Pink Posse. The idea behind the whole thing was all well and good except he went out of his way to look for trouble. We went to a straight club and after someone made a comment after Cody kissed me, Cody beat the crap out of the guy. Then he insisted we needed guns and brought me to confront my attacker and tried to encourage me to kill him.

Luckily, my dream counterpart is smart sometimes and was done with Cody and the Posse after that.

He also had us all shave our heads in solidarity and for a moment, when I woke up this morning, I was afraid that had bled over. Luckily, I still have all my hair. I know it sounds superficial and like I told Brian in the dreams, it'd grow back, but I really don't like the way I look without hair.

So somehow some fans of my mom found out I went to UCI? And told some people and then -- autographs were wanted?

I haven't even done anything. I mean other than some school plays which isn't really anything.

Anyway this is the great picture that has graced the university paper this week. I look so glam.

I was thinking of planning a party. My main criteria is glow-in-the-dark body paint and glitter...because of...reasons. I'd say I would host it, but my place isn't that big and I don't want to have glitter as a permanent decoration.

I am glad to have two jobs, now. It's nice to be making money, rather than just spending from what I have 'saved.'

With all the weird shit that's going on, I thought that I would just stay in and read.

Not so sure that picking up "World War Z" was the best choice. However, I've been meaning to finish it, so I didn't really think about how messed up it is to read while shit's crazy.

...I'm pretty sure I didn't go to sleep in the shower last night. I distinctly remember getting into bed. And it's weird because I had a dream that...well. I was hiding in the shower because of reasons. And that's where I woke up. In my pajamas. With the water running.

A bunch of friends were up at my family's cabin for a party. You know, no parents, lots of booze. And these assholes who were supposed to be our friends played a prank on my little sister.

Since the weather is back to it's regular self, I was wondering if anyone wanted to get together for like a group outing, tomorrow.

Maybe Universal Studios or Pacific Park out on Santa Monica Pier...I'm also open to ideas. My car can comfortably seat three more people.

Things are getting pretty intense in my dreams. Someone in my circle of friends is possessed by a Japanese trickster spirit, but it's not apparent who it is. People are getting hurt. The dreams are more like nightmares, lately, and when I wake up I'm still unsettled. Running on the treadmill seems to help, so I've been doing a lot of that these past few days.

Lots of crazy stuff is going on in my dreams. Stefan has amnesia cause of a witch. Matt is losing time cause he's got a traveler in his head. Katherine is human and gone. I had to finally tell everyone about Bonnie even though she didn't want me to. We had a memorial for her, which was really hard. And Tyler came back during the memorial.

We really get no rest in Mystic Falls.

It's been a bit since I last made any sort of update.

I'm still alive and I was spending my time nerding out and making myself a cosplay outfit. I'm super tired but I think it came together, nicely. What do you all think?

I like it here, a lot. Seems like a nice place to settle down and make a life at, you know? Lots of people, a great university, wonderful vistas to enjoy, and some seriously awesome coastal scenery!

Man I'm so bummed that October is over? I still want to do spooky shit and leave my Halloween decorations up, but I feel like it's practically illegal this late in November.

So not ready for it to be Christmas yet, though. If I get a tree it won't be until the week before or something.

Moving from a very large home to a small studio/efficiency apartment is gonna take a lot of adjusting.

At least, I didn't really have a lot of stuff to move.

Well, I don't know who, but my stalker was drowned by someone in my dreams last night. They're getting more morbid by the second.

After some consideration, I've decided to go visit my parents.

I've just been homesick, lately. I was worried about that almost tsunami a couple weeks ago and since I don't have a job yet, taking the time to go home will be something that I need. Just gonna spend a week, or two, to just regather myself and stuff.

I'm heading out on Friday.

You know how when you say "Things can't possibly get worse" that things really do get worse? I feel awful for my dream self. I was almost killed by my stalker. You know what his final words to me were? "Allison, if I can't have you, no one can." It's almost cheesy, but somehow manages to be terrifying.

I was looking for a peaceful sleep but now I am too stressed.

Hawaii is under a tsunami watch, because of an earthquake that happened in Chile. It's said to hit around 3am. I worry for my parents...

Guess I will just find something to watch on Netflix and text with my parents until I know they are okay.

More dreams. I went on a date with the seemingly sweet photographer, but it was kind of a front. I feel bad for going on a date with him without even really liking him in that way. I mean, this is all in dreams so I'm not sure I should feel guilty about any of it, but it just feels so real, you know?

I forgot how mind-numbing applying for jobs can be.

As I promised, at the start of the summer, I've begun the search for an 'adult' job and I'm hoping that I can put my degree to use. After all, Computer Science is what I majored in and I would hope that there's a place looking for someone to do some kind of programming work. If anyone could point me in the right direction for a job, I would be greatly appreciative.

The applications are starting to just blur, at this point. I'm hoping that my internship at Stark Industries will carry a little bit of weight.

Time to get a snack and then work on more applications. If you don't hear from me in 10 days, send help.

With all that stuff, I didn't really need more dreams to make my nights just as weird. Although, I suppose my dreams were more relaxed.
