OKay, it's been months since the accident. I think it's about time I got back into shape now.

So: Anyone out there do self defense training? Martial arts, kickboxing... stuff? Also, Fencing?

I also really need to brush up on my archery, but the target Obi built for me should be enough for that.

Okay folks. We need to get things organized a little better, mostly so Wrex knows who's working with us. The underground areas are complete and we've started construction on the main buildings. What, if anything, are we all contributing, not just now, but once everything is set up? Some of us have already discussed what we want to do as a field team, but there's also helping kids out, and other people manifesting strange powers who are adults.

Some of you may not be fully aware of what's going on. In short, we want to have a groundwork in place. Most of us have experienced traumatic memories along with powers manifesting. Not everyone is going to handle that well, and that's what we want to be able to help.

Also. Psychiatrists. Anyone know any good ones?

Apparently the departure of the swarm of fluffy creatures has convinced my son that he needs a dog.

Listen, I'm hearing a lot of chatter. Shit is getting exceptionally real these days. Dreams are out of control, people are finding themselves able to do all kinds of stupid stuff that if you'd asked any of us six months ago was possible we would have laughed.

The times, they are a changing.

So I had an idea in between of all the sex I'm having. Most of our dreams are full of conflict. Death. Bad juju.

If you're comfortable talking about it, maybe not here but somewhere, I'd like to start trying to figuring out the connections. If we, this select few, are all turning into Superheroes than maybe someone else is turning into a Supervillian.

You would think after how many years on the job I have under my belt I would be desensitized by it all, but after days like today I just go home feeling hollow. A little girl died and there was nothing I could have done to save her, but breaking that kind of news... it leaves a person empty. I should have been able to do more.

The FBI let me keep most of the money that the man left for me which I thought was very generous of them. Heaven knows I need it what with my medical bills and the nurse coming to check up on me every day. The money from the fire insurance is getting caught up in court, of course, and I need to appear in front of a board next week to tell my side of the story. They don't want to pay out since it was arson and not accidental fire. If I don't get that money I don't know what I'm supposed to do. Maybe renting is in my future instead of owning.

This is going to sound absolutely bonkers, but with all the dreams and everything...

I have a gigantic backyard and like to make fajitas. I don't get Monday off (no way in hell they're letting a park ranger have Memorial Day off), but my shift ends pretty early if anyone wants to join me for grilled fajitas and beers.

I have a dog if that matters in one way or another. She's friendly though.

Sometimes I wonder how war vets feel when all the fighting and the blood and the gore and the lives sacrificed and all that horrendous trauma they have gone through have amounted to a big, fat Monday off that everyone else gets to celebrate.

Thank you very much for the day off. I'll leave the reopening of old wounds and reminders of pointless sacrifices to the callous people on television.

I'm having a barbeque out of my balcony on Monday, so if you're having one of your own, I'm not coming.

And I thought living here was going to be boring. In the month or so since I've gotten settled in here it's mostly been things like shooing bored kids away from the woods with their spray paint cans, beer bottles, and lighters. I havn't even gotten to shoot a tranq dart at wildlife yet. I'm pretty annoyed about that.

Then this week happens and it's like every exciting thing that could have happened over the last month just got packed into a few days.

I met a guy named Gandalf who posts on 'this crazy net thing', so you can blame him for my presence here, by the way.

Anyway, can someone tell me where I can go to get extremely drunk in the presence of people so I don't have to drink alone?

I just got yelled at by HR for "going over the overtime limit". I need another distraction from this crazy shit that isn't work a hobby.

I've been getting such good lessons from Ms. Hawke and making such unexpected progress that it pains me to admit that I don't think a motorcycle is the thing for me. Somehow, the idea of Frodo Baggins and Harley-Davidson don't quite seem to go together.

I had less tests done on me when I signed up for the army. There were tests for things I'd never heard of.

I actually don't have all that many friends around here. But I have a dilemma.

I met a woman online, and its ruining my productivity. And all we do is respond back and forth on this thing.

This sudden obsession with dreams here is quite interesting. I've never found it especially common a thing for people to share. Too intimate. But then, I suppose people are more willing to share with strangers than with friends. At any rate, I'm half tempted to leaf through some copy of a dream dictionary and start analyzing.

The dream was a lot clearer this time. There were more pieces and they played together in an order that made more sense. I woke up and tried to write it down, and when I fell asleep I had a different dream all together. Perhaps my mind is messing with me.

I woke up, sort of on my couch, wondering what the hell I DID last night.

...And then the pounding and the puking started.

How many zombies did I put away last night, because I seriously don't remember ANYTHING.

Nights like last night make me wish I had more people to talk to. I had a dream, but it came in fits and spurts. Very urgent. I watched a good blue, fuzzy elfman die, and every order meant the chance of someone else dying.

And all I could do was wait for something. I almost want to go back to sleep so I could finish it.

I was injured a few years ago and I've had recurring migraines ever since. I'd welcome any suggestions to reduce my reliance on pills when a particularly bad migraine hits.

Sunday was a casualty in this war against pneumonia. I'm afraid I slept straight through it. I do have vague memories of getting up for water--along with vague memories of spilling water on the kitchen floor--but I can't say it happened for sure. I woke up dehydrated anyway, and the kitchen was clean.

Yes, I said kitchen. I'm staying at the house of a friend of a friend friend. I have the whole place to myself. At first, I thought it'd be torturous difficult to adjust to it, but I've been puttering around for a few hours now and I'm recalling all manner of fond, indoorsy memories. And I can definitely see the appeal of owning your own bathroom.

My fever hasn't quite broken. I'm still a bit fuzzy. I probably should go back to the couch. Still not hungry, yet. But I have access to a computer and Valarnet. Just wanted to check in with a few people to reassure them that I haven't shuffled off this mortal coil. That's Shakespeare, you know!
