Part of me feels like we shouldn't even be surprised anymore when this stuff happens. We live in a vortex of weird or something.

My sister mentioned this network to me. Allegedly it’s a good place for recommendations in the area, but it just seems like a lot of dream sharing to me. Who cares this much about their dreams?

I am not looking for recommendations as much as opinions. How do you feel about art? Do you have a favorite artist or style? Do any of you create your own pieces?

I have to say, in all my travels I have not seen a social network site that is localized in such a manner as this. What's with all this dream

So help a girl out who's been gone for the past 14 years, any yoga studio suggestions? Or suggestions in general I guess but right now I'm more focused on finding a yoga studio.

It's never too early to start planning Halloween at the night clubs. Damon, I think we should start Halloween themed nights in the club in late September, sort of how the theme parks do it. What do you think?

Considering nothing imploded at work while I was gone, I think they may actually not stare at me like I've grown a second head if I take vacations once in a while. Then again, that stare may have just been because I decided to take a vacation.

Though, I have no idea how I survived the portion of the vacation where I was expected to eat somewhere near my weight in food. I've realized what a normal family is supposed to be like But luckily I survived and actually managed to enjoy myself.

And then I ended up dreaming again, which has been...

The dreams, however, have returned since I've gotten back. I think I could have done without them, but alas. It seems they are determined to make up for lost time.

A guy came in the bar today with 40 lip piercings. My question for the masses is WHY? How does he eat or drink or do anything really?

I need a break from the club and Ciao Bella! for the night. Rebekah, how about an impromptu date night, love?

I was out today and came across a cute little corgi stuck in a hot car. I waited a few minutes to see if the owner would come out and when no one came around, I broke the window to get it out. The scum bag came running after I broke the window of his precious car, which he seemed to care about more than his dog. He said he was going to call the police despite the fact that it's legal for me to do that here and illegal for him to leave the dog in the car like that.

I'm not ashamed to say that I compelled him to forget how the window got broken and to never leave the dog in the car again. I was tempted to use his head to break one of the other window though.

It's my first Father's Day with my beautiful baby girl. Life is pretty great.

I've just realized that I have spent 60 hours at the club this week alone.

I need to get out. Volunteers?

Che palle. I did not know the answer to the question 'can these dreams put you into the hospital?' was yes. Then again, it may be a combination of them plus my own stubbornness that put me into the hospital, but here I am. With many needles stuck in me and staying for 'observation.'

At least I can breathe again, that is a positive.

I took a nap and woke up to see that the statue of my likeness was also right here in my hospital room - I am not sure where it was located in a dream, though it must mean I die soon because why else would someone put a statue of me in their office? But anyway, here I had to explain it as a prank. I think I am delirious enough on drugs for them to have believed me.

Last nights dream has my brothers and I in England. The late 1400's I think. Klaus was lord of everything, just the way he likes it. A new person entered my dreams. Klaus wanted to use her for some ritual only she escaped, which caused a large rift between him and Elijah. And in my dreams I hate the girl only because of my blind loyalty to my brother.

I'm wondering if dream Rebekah is an idiot.

Being an engaged man never felt so good.

I just had someone lecture me about being open on Easter, and not doing the 'Lord's work'.

Two fights in one week. This is a club where people have a good time. It's not som pub, and having a punch up in my place is not something I take lightly. Take that outside.

So I might have broken the guy's wrist on the bar. The bouncers had it handled quickly, but my place isn't that kind of place.

I have this nauseating feeling in the pit of my stomach that I'm going to start dreaming again soon...I know i wont like whats coming. I never do.

Sometimes it's still hard to believe I own three businesses and am actually successful at it.

Damon, I feel we should go to all our professors who said we'd never amount to anything and flip them the bird. Maybe go be inspiration to the new frat boys in our old fraternity.

Apparently I was correct in thinking I couldn't hold off the dreams forever. It was not exactly as I expected it to be, however. I'd come expecting to find Katerina, but instead found Elena...one of the doppelgangers. Apparently she is not the first. Also apparent is that I am in the habit of approving kidnapping (or at least not voicing and disapproval?), but I suppose catching Katerina is different than a human. I smelled her neck and ripped her vervain necklace off. It was surprisingly creepy of me Only they had the human and not the vampire. There's a lot of detail in the middle that I doubt anyone wants to hear about. It's very messy and involves me killing someone In the end, I got impaled, which you'd think would kill a vampire, but apparently I got better. After my gray stage. How artistic of me. A pity about the suit, though. You'd think I'd learn to spend less on them after all these years. Alas.

Purgatory for the New Years is the place you want to be.

Damon, Kol. we need a new plumber for the bars. The one that we've hired that does work on Ciao Bella is a racist misogynistic asshole verbally assaulting women at the store.

Some dickhead at the liquor store told me Trump is going to send me home. Here I thought I was blending in pretty well. Screw this noise. Why does Canada get an angel who looks like he stepped out of GQ and we get some dipshit who looks like he rolled in the stuff at the bottom of a bag of Doritos?

I attended the Haunted Hayride in Los Angeles last night and found it to be rather dull and boring. In fact, I didn't find anything truly scary for the halloween events this year. Everything is becoming to kiddy friendly for me.

I am putting the final touches on the Purgatory Halloween party. Drinks are all Halloween themed, and we will have a costume contest and a haunted house upstairs. That's where the cool ghouls and goblins go.

I have a blood bag for you. Yum yum.

Mom went to her doctor today for another check and so far the surgery for her cancer a month ago remains a success and there is no cancer to be seen. I can only hope it stays that way.

All I'm hearing from whiny little teens is how there life is totally ruined because they couldn't get the iPhone 7 on opening day, or how the Apple Watch Series 2 is completely sold out everywhere and they can't get it. To watch them have their meltdowns is to laugh.

I am completely worn out. The twins got colds which lead to poor Laurel getting an ear infection. Thank god they both didn't get one! After a healthy dose of antibiotics and a lot of cuddles (with a surprise gist of their favorite food), they're all better. But of course I've caught their cold now.

I think the girls are actually excited that I'm doc because they get to be doctors.

The one thing I love about our fair city of Huntington Beach is Food Truck Thursday at the Sports Chalet off of Beach and Heil. So many good businesses to try!

Maybe Ciao Bella needs an Italian Food Truck on wheels...

Vacation was amazing. I love Japan, and I love Tahiti. Big noisy cities, and perfect blue water.

After that, I came home to dreams. Apparently, after a feud with my brother that should have been long buried, Enzo and I are possessed and eating our way somewhere. Awesome!

Three of my Ciao Bella employees just texted me asking for tonight off because they want to go to the new Harry Potter book event at Barns and Noble.

....since when is there a new Harry Potter book?


PS: I told them no because it was decided when I was in Middle School that I'd be a Slytherin and I want to take their joy away--plus--you know, establishment to run and all.

Apparently my front yard is a Pokestop. I sprayed some little brats with a hose for being outside my house yelling and making noise at 3am this morning. I have a pregnant wife trying to sleep you assholes.

I return, Valar. I surprised Mom and Dad with a trip to Italy to visit my mom's mother just in case the Cancer is terminal. We are still hoping for positive results, though.

I woke up to the most wonderful and unexpected surprise today.

Laurel and Madison had brought me breakfast and lovely little homemade cards and gifts. I would have never thought in a million years they'd do that. But it was perfect.

I'll be playing guitar in the lounge area of Purgatory tonight to all our guests who are interested. I know you prefer me as a bartender over Damon, but you'll survive.

Kol and I are going to be parents!

A rare night off for both of us and we spend it together discussing other business ventures and toasting our success.

Everyone is going on about dreams. I personally hope I never dream about my AU life again. Ever.

It feels strange being back home in the OC. But I have to admit I kind of missed it

I went to go pay my parents a visit today, and brought Odysseus along for the ride, and my Mama convinced me to binge watch Fuller House with her, because "Oh, sweetheart. Mama and Papa used to watch this show with you when you were a little boy." Corny as fuck, but I can't say no to Mama. Anything tht makes that woman happy, I'm happy to do.

Decided to go to one of the local shelters today and get a dog. Batchelor life is ls lonely, even when you're running two businesses.

The Purgatory New Years Eve Party was a huge success.

The bands that played also thank all those who attended.

For once, I'm not going back to teach. I'm still getting used to that.

Don't forget. New Years Eve at Purgatory. It's definitely the place you want to be when the ball drops.

So, as some of you suspected, or expected, or whatever -

I officially resigned my day job. Purgatory is going well, keeping me comfortable. I haven't had a day off in months, and even if I have the energy, I just can't keep that up. I will actually miss teaching.

Friendsgiving at Ciao Bella was a success, but who knew the Thanksgiving Holiday could be so bloody long and exhausting? I'm actually ready to get back to work tomorrow at this point. Though I'm a tad jealous of anyone who got to go to Vegas. Maybe I'll go for the New Year.

Despite the fact that my birthday seems to be cursed I'm still going to call it a success.
