All things considered, this has been a good year for Pimpernel Outreach. Far busier than we would like to see, but it is satisfying to help those who need it the most. Especially during the holiday season. Making this time of year a bit brighter for children and easing the burdens a little more bearable for all in need is fulfilling. I wouldn't trade my job for anything else in the world. Even if there are times when it is highly stressful and overwhelming, helping people is always worth it.

So here's to 2019 almost being over, and hopefully there is a brighter future come 2020.

Sometimes it strikes me as odd how people are more reflective and show appreciation for their family and friends during the holidays. To me, that seems like it should be something everyone does on a daily basis. Though I can understand why. The turning of the year tends to put things into perspective. A new year full of endless possibilities and hope of what may come. Everyone can use some hope in their lives, and it is my wish that everyone is able to find some in the coming new year.
