It hadn’t occurred to me until I woke up this morning that no magic meant that I couldn’t portal to New York to see Alexander for his birthday. He’s there helping his father with something for awhile and we had planned on me coming there for the day, but seeing as I’m completely human at the moment we had to settle for Skype. It definitely wasn’t the same, but once I have my magic back I’ll be going out there to see him so this had better not last too much longer.

So, I'm a vampire the things you find out when you almost bite someone thanks to this craziness, but now it's Friday the 13th and a harvest moon and I'm starting to feel a little weird.

Is a werewolf vampire actually a thing? I feel like I'm in a horribly written YA novel and some sparkly vampire and jorts wearing werewolf are going to show up and fight for my love.

I think I might have to find a place to hide out because I don't want to hurt anyone if I end up turning... I hate this!

How can one small cat eat so much? And how does it smell ten thousand times worse coming out than any of it smelled going in? I don’t think anything that came out of the twins ever smelled near as bad as what’s in Apollo’s box does. And they adored that revolting pea baby food. And the equally appalling Chicken with rice one.

I don’t care if he is scared of the damned thing at first - I’m buying him one of those self cleaning litter boxes. He’ll get used to it.
