I had Lucky Charms for breakfast, AND for lunch today. Because I'm an adult and I make my own decisions.

I love being able to make bad choices and not have to see my mother and sister's judgment around every corner.

We've been playing video games all day. ALL. DAY. I feel like I've gotten NOTHING done. I really should be unpacking, but I'm trying to hit level 40 on HotS.

That was an unexpected turn in my dreams. I decided to leave London and move to India with my husband. It wasn't an easy choice to leave London because my brother will be there training the next generation, but there is much to learn from the Indian Brotherhood, and I know my husband does miss his home country. Though it was a choice made easier by Jacob coming with to learn from our Indian Brotherhood for a while before he returned to London.

It is the first time in my dreams that I will be separated from my twin brother by more than a city's width. It feels...weird, just as it did in this life when I first moved here. But that is what Skype is for, and I'm going to have a nice long conversation with my brother this evening.

I also am uncertain of that boy, Jack, that my brother took from the asylum in the dreams

So the dreams continue. Before I can be crowned King, I must go through a ritual at Warrior Falls. The power of the Black Panther is stripped from me by a concoction, and the four tribes of our nation are called forth if they wish to challenge me for the throne. All say no, though my little sister Shuri - ever the upstart - wanted to skip to the end of the ceremony because she hated her outfit.

Then M'Baku showed up. He is the leader of the Jabari, the only Wakandan clan that refused to come under the rule of the kings of Wakanda. It was a brutal fight, but in the end I got him to yield, for the sake of his people, for the challenge to the throne is usually to the death unless one yields and the stubborn fool did not want to.

Then my powers were restored to me, and I was able to visit my Baba (father) in the Djalia, the realm of our ancestors. It hurt my heart to see him but not be able to be with him in life. At least I could make peace with how he died, and get much needed advice on how to be a good king.

Also? The dreams gifted me with my weapons and costume from warrior falls. I think I will mount them on the wall in my study.

Well my apartment here definitely has a better view than my old one in New York. If any of my cousins are looking for me I'll be by the pool enjoying it.

Are we expecting another weird OC weather event that no one told me about? I went to three grocery stores, and every one of them was completely wiped out of white bread. Not just one brand, but the entire section. Even the store brands. I mean, I’m not that picky, but I live with two little girls (and a boyfriend) who won’t touch whole wheat bread, so that wasn’t really an option.

I didn’t really want to go to yet another store, so this week everyone’s getting wraps instead of sandwiches for their lunches.

I can’t believe high school is almost over. It feels weird that after this summer, I’m not going back in fall. I’m still a little bummed I didn’t get into my first choice school, but I’ve gotten a few letters back from other colleges. I just need to choose which one to accept now and get back in touch with them.

I know it’s a little last minute, but since you didn’t do prom last year, I was hoping maybe you would like to come with me to mine this year? Maybe you can help me pick out a suit to rent?

You know that classic urban legend we all know never happened, about the guy with a hook for a hand? That everyone knows someone that it really happened to their cousin’s best friend’s roomate’s older sister? And we all know that it never happened at all?

I learned that it is actually based on a real thing that happened back in the 1940s, and now I don’t know how to feel. About it or any other urban legend.

So I’ve never actually eaten an avocado that wasn’t an ingredient at a restaurant before, and I thought they’d be an easy breakfast for days I didn’t get up in time to make it to the dining hall before class. But I’ve never bought one before, prepared one before, anything. So google tells you everything, right?

I got halfway through googling “How to eat an avocado” when it decided to very helpfully suggest “How to eat an elephant”. ...What? How… how is this a popular enough question that google is just assuming that’s what someone would naturally be asking for? I’m confused and disturbed.
