Ziggy’s getting big enough now that he’s figured out it’s not so easy for me to pick him up and put him down when he’s in my lap, so he’s started to crawl into my lap for a nap when he knows I’m about to leave for classes. Not only is it hard to move out from under a 25 lb puppy, I also feel so guilty about it, too.

I wonder if that’s also part of his plan?

I was really excited when I checked the mail today and saw that I got a letter from Harvard but… it looks like it was a good thing I applied to back up schools as well. I mean, there’s always grad school? Dad’s… trying not to act too relieved. I know he’s hoping I go to a school closer to home, but he’s trying not to let it show right now.

...Seriously? I know that pot’s legal in our state now, but we’re not that kind of Bakery. Maybe find a place that sells it, and they’ll have the kind of brownies you’re looking for instead of trying to argue with a tired college student. I’m pretty sure you have to be licensed to sell them, and we’re not.
