I'm an athlete and I'll be training here for the foreseeable future. Where's the best place to run?

I think I've gotten nearly all of my Christmas shopping done. December is going to be a busy month at work so at least I know that is taken care of and it's being shipped to me. One thing off my mind.

Now it's into lesson plans and grading the massive pile of homework that accumulated. I think there's a lot of coffee in my future tonight.

I went to one of those wine and painting classes last night. It was something my friends and I used to do once a week back in NOLA. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I forgot how much fun this was.

I have to say that my girlfriend surprised me recently by proposing to me! I said yes, for the record. I have to say I did not see it coming either.

I think the hardest thing about being a CEO of a new company during the holidays is learning to take care of your employees. Apparently I now have over two hundred (and growing) children whose schedules I need to balance, while somehow not shutting the whole office down for the entire month of December.

In unrelated news, I may need to hire a house sitter for next month. That, and get a more comfortable office couch.
