It always surprises me a little when people come into the cafe in the middle of the night, on a Sunday or week night and they have clearly been to a bar or club. I know people go clubbing and stuff even during the week, but it makes me wonder if they also have a regular nine to five job or classes and mange to sober up before work or school or what. And if they do have work or school early, when do they sleep?

Okay, that's the last time I have jalapeno vodka before bed. I'm done. Whatever the hell THAT nightmare was, it won't stop coming back to me. Kind of like how the spicy thai place down the road 'repeats' on me.

I got to see the doctor again today, and I’m finally, finally free of crutches. They still want me to do my ankle exercises for a few more weeks, but I’m allowed to put weight back on my foot again, within reason. I can’t tell you how glad I am just to be able to get up and down the stairs to my apartment again without having to go up on my butt. It was really getting old when carrying my backpack in my lap.
