Dear Diary,

( Excerpt from Elena's Diary. (Private to Elena) )


I didn't want to be right.

Would it be ridiculous if I decided to go to parks or some other public place to play the violin? I often see people playing instruments in parks and places like that and have thought about doing it myself, but thought I would get some opinions.

And just when I thought the dreams couldn’t possibly make my life any more awkward here - I have a dream about my one year anniversary with Sam. And wake up to see my amazing boyfriend Doug laying beside me in our bed. I like my real life better than my dream one.

I finally had a new dream. It was Thanksgiving and mine and Alex's mother came over. It's weird seeing our mother in my dreams and knowing that, in the dreams, she's not actually my biological mother. Alex was worried that she was going to get mad at her for letting me out myself to the world. Not that anyone knows that Kara Danvers is Supergirl or anything, but I can understand where she's coming from.

Other than that, I overheard Cat telling a local radio host, who is pretty anti-Supergirl, to stop insulting Supergirl on her show. I guess Leslie, the radio host, refused so Cat demoted her to covering the weather. Later on that day, Alex and I saw the helicopter that Leslie was in get struck by lightning so I went off to save her. Unfortunately, when I was helping Leslie, I got struck and it passed through me to her and she ended up in a coma.

As if that wasn't bad enough, at Thanksgiving dinner, mom and Alex got into a fight over everything. Alex left and I tried to defend her to mom, but Ms. Grant called me in and it being Thanksgiving is not a good enough reason to say no to Cat Grant. When I got there, it turned out that Ms. Grant's electronics weren't working and she was missing a conference call. Turned out that when Leslie got struck through me, she gained lightning abilities and after waking up from her coma, she called herself Livewire and decided to go after Ms. Grant.

We eventually stopped her a little while later cause I used a water pipe to short circuit Livewire. Then Alex and I found out that the real reason she had got so mad at Alex when she told her she worked for the DEO was because our father used to work there and she blamed them for his death.

I'm hoping my next dreams don't take so long. I'm enjoying these a lot.
