More dreams, this is what I get for falling asleep on the couch while watching TV. Beth and I found ourselves holed up in a funeral home. She'd hurt her foot by stepping in a small animal trap, so I had to carry her up to the place. It looked well taken care of, but we couldn't find the person that'd been taking care of the place. Things were looking up a bit, then I heard a dog barking outside. Checked it out once, the dog ran away and then when it happened again later that night I went to go check again only to find that there were walkers outside.

Too many of them. Told Beth to get out while I held them off, and by the time I caught up to her someone had grabbed her, tossed her into a car and drove off. Only thing I saw was a big white cross on the back of their car. I trailed them as best I could until I couldn't find anymore traces of where the car had gone, now I can only think that the worst has happened to her and probably will happen to me too with the group that's just stumbled upon me in my dreams.

Depressing dreams aside, I do hope that everyone has a good Thanksgiving out there. I hope it's filled with laughter, love and all things good in the world.

Considering I rarely need to sleep now, aside from reading, I have been watching considerably more Netflix than I used to. I was never a big tv watcher, but when I finish a book and don't have another one to start there are only so many things I can do when Will and Tessa are asleep. Tonight I watched this interesting little documentary about cats called The Lion in Your Living Room. It was all about how cats have evolved into the domesticated cats we have as pets. The thing that amused me tonight was that Church joined me. Church rarely wants anything to do with other cats, but tonight he was sitting on the couch with me, watching it. Perhaps he simply missed me while I was in New York earlier this month and wanted some attention.

The best part of today is hacking at a turkey with a motorized hacking saw.

I'm ready for my food coma now. My mom and Paul made so much food, we're going to have leftovers for days. And I'm okay with that.

So I managed to actually cook everything for Thanksgiving today without burning any of it. That's a definite accomplishment after the sawdust potatoes I made last Thanksgiving.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving - whichever you celebrated - today.

Oh man, I'm fucking exhausted but it was definitely worth cooking everything I did today. Mostly all I can think is how great bed sounds, so I think I'm going to hit the hay early tonight. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
