I've finally found the coffee mug I need for long days at work.

My first two days with my new students went wonderfully. I'm excited to start our first full week of the school year tomorrow and I hope they are too.

My last couple weeks of vacation are making me more anxious than before when I had the whole summer ahead of me. Anyone want to get a drink or something this week? Or play pool, or hell go to the pool I don't know. Anything where I'm not just thinking of how many sets of eyes will actually be on me on repeat like a bad horror flick?

First it took over a year for a new set of dreams to occur. Now it's not even a month between the end of one and the start of another. Let's see....

1. Father is a warmongering overlord demon? Check
2. Grow up in pacifist inter dimension only for him to show up and destroy it all? Check
3. Run away to Earth to hide find a way to stop him by seeking help from others? Check
4. Form a group with a bunch of other teenagers to try and help others, going from team to friends to family? Check

Nice to know I can rely on some constants.

So if anybody wants to come join me in watching Gene Wilder movies tonight in honor of his passing - hit me up. I'll give you my address. Figure that watching his movies will be a good way to celebrate the passing of a comedy genius.

I do regret the fact that mine and Vanessa's vacation had to end, but it is reassuring to see that nothing foul has happened in the area while we were gone. I'm sure it was simply awaiting our return of course.

Got a pit bull mum and her puppies at the rescue, and I have to say, it's so hard to not adopt all of them, not that I have the room. Just hope they all find some decent forever homes when the time comes.
