I have a pet wolverine. A real one. He's not even mine, he's my dream clone's.

His name is Jonathan. I took him for a walk.

I got odd looks.

I'm not entirely sure what to say here. I've never really done anything like writing online before, but I was told to give it a try. That this is the way people communicate now. Not sure how I feel about it, but if this is the thing then I'll try it. At least it's easier than hand writing. My name's Iolaus and this semester I'll be teaching a class at UCI on Greek Mythology.

The unfortunate thing about starting a new job is that when you have the itch to travel, as I currently do, you can't go anywhere.

It's just as well, Lily starts school soon so it's certainly not the best time to jet off to Europe. But Paris would be wonderful this time of year.

This month's to do list:

Acquire empty lot next door: ✔
File for building permits: ✔
Start construction: ✔
Spoil boyfriend: ✔
Have the last few items from home in England sent over: ✔

I feel like things are sorting themselves out here. I even finished my paperwork stack that's been there for a few weeks while I sorted the whole list out. I feel good about that. Oh and, also:

Successfully Avoided Tough Conversation with Father: ✔✔✔✔

In case anyone is ever wondering how to tame a three headed dog? Just throw a rubber ball. They'll love it.

Mostly I'm hoping that if you do encounter a three headed dog it's not because you're in the Underworld. I can't say my time there was all that enjoyable. Percy, I'm sorry about your mom.

Not that angering the God of the underworld could every really be considered enjoyable. Especially when, not only the master bolt is missing, but so is the helm of darkness. Even worse? When said master bolt shows up in someones' backpack.

It makes my head spin.

On a positive note, I'm super excited about my new living arrangements!

My life is so weird. Pulling out old dance lessons for work makes me laugh. I only studied ballet as a child because it was required by my trainer for Olympic level gymnastics. He thought it helped improve balance and grace. For the record? I've mostly forgotten what I've learned. On a good note, I seem to remember most of my actual floor routines for gymnastics.

It's fun to amuse the coworkers who just thought you were a brute.

Future Industries is starting up a series of workshops for girls and women of any age. This is an extension of program to train and teach girls so they can enter STEM fields, whether or not they stay with my company.

Best of all it's entirely free, and anything you invent or create is yours. We'll even help you patent it. And you'll get paid and retain the patent if it's something we think we can use.

I had a productive weekend...

I am, now, working on making some clothes for an upcoming wedding. That's rather exciting and the men involved in the wedding will also be used as models for more advertisement. They get some nice suits and I get some advertising...works for me.

Things got interesting on Saturday night...

Overall, the weekend went pretty well.

I, also, need to look into hiring more people. Why does college have to get in the way of students working? ;)

Hey guys! I'm Belle, and I'm new to the network. I heard all the cool kids hang out here, so I figured I'd check it out.

Holy crap I woke up with my dads detective badge on my night stand!! That's pretty awesome!

Nothing new has happened dreamwise, just trying to get to Sherry still and dodging the infected. You know, normal stuff. I did get a few things from my dreams, a key and a hand crank. I have no idea why the hand crank came through, but who knows? Apparently my dreams thought it was important to have.

In real life news, since it's safe to announce it now, Dean and I are expecting. I'm feeling a bit better now, although the morning sickness hasn't completely gone away yet but I'm definitely looking forward to that finally easing up. And the exhaustion, I hate coming home every day after work and doing nothing but sleeping since I have house work that I'd like to get done and not rush around on my days off to get it accomplished.

Random fact that I heard today; apparently if you're in a pinch, you can use peanut butter to shave. When I heard it, I had to google it to see if it was true cause it seemed so far-fetched, but apparently the oils in peanut butter give you a smooth shave. Now, this doesn't mean I'm gonna go grab the jar out of the cabinet the next time I take a shower, but I thought it was interesting.
