A little birdie told me this is where the cool kids hang out. And with all the crazy going on around here, I should at least attempt to be in the know.

I think my ancient oven needs replaced. It just stopped working. Anyone know where I can get a good deal on an oven? I don't want to microwave food for the rest of my life.

Some of my new friends at the Anaheim Ballet took me out last night after rehearsal. I had to do a tequila shot with training wheels as my initiation. Not the worst initiation in the world, I have to say. I didn't drink too much, so I'm fine today. Everyone there is super fun with the exception of maybe three people who have been professional, but not very welcoming. I'm sure it's just because I'm new.

I've decided to try something new. If I were to start teaching bellydancing lessons, would any of you be interested? I'd need students. That's sort of a requirement for any class.

I've recently tried looking into more modern artists. Not the Modernist movement, but contemporary artists. I've turned my attention to Nicola Samorì, who does what they're calling Dark Baroque.

I find myself connecting with the work he does. The references he makes to classical painting, and the way he unpacks the conventions of Baroque art and turns them into his own. Showing them inside out.

It's fascinating. This piece I'm particularly drawn to.

Sometimes I wonder what people are thinking when they try to mug someone. I suppose I look an easy target, poor thing.

I've begun thinking again about starting my own self defense classes. I see so many woman and guys mugged when I'm out patrolling and think that if they had real self defense lessons. I know that there are a few other people on Valar who teach or have skills from their dreams and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in getting together to do something.
