In my dreams, I've been told I'm a survivor by my guardian. That's better than what other people call me. It's even better than what I call myself.

I find myself questioning if being a survivor is really a good thing though. I wonder how much more I'll have to endure. Even the head of F.B.I. has turned against me in my dreams. He forced me to look at something horrible while asking me questions. It's one more image I can't get out of my head. Maybe I deserve it. I feel like a monster.

Is it good to survive if the experience changes you?

Thanks to my dreams, I can now ask "where's Chinatown," "is there a pet shop here," and "give me your cheapest alcohol/cigarettes" in seven languages.

So, at least I've learned one phrase I might actually use if I ever decide to go travelling.

Finding out the creepy ass mayor isn't a good guy doesn't really shock me. I knew there was something skeevy about him. Finding out my parents were in on killing my birth family in my dreams did surprise me, and so did finding out that the chainsaw wielding psycho is my cousin Jed instead of some random dude. I have no idea how I feel about any of that.

On a different, not dream related note, I did manage to get information in regards to my birth mom. She's still alive, and still lives in Texas. My PI did get me her phone number, it was public anyway, so I'm thinking I'll give her a call sometime this weekend.

I know I'm not far in the dreams, but you think by now I'd learn not to trust people so easily.

The other night I went to see a movie in the theatres! It was my first one since Caramon took me to my first movie when I was seventeen, and I'm not really sure if that one counts because we ended up leaving part way through and then told me he was never going to take me to another movie again.

I was kind of surprised at how nice people were! The people behind us kept throwing us their popcorn which I thought was really sweet if not a little silly because movie popcorn is expensive.

I dreamed our mission involved me cross-dressing in disguise.

On an related note, Aerith and Tifa can be terrifying when trying to extract information from someone.

I want to say I understand this whole dream thing, but I'm pretty sure I still don't understand. You talk about them like they happened. Really happened.

Life in Mystic Falls definitely keeps you on your toes. My relationships are definitely a little bit more on the crazy side there, but then again... Better not go there.

Getting closer to the end of the semester! That's an upside, right? I am up to my ears in papers. Guess I'll be hiding at the library again! Sleep, what sleep? If it keeps me from dreaming, I guess the papers are a perk!

Got one thing sorted out only to be thrown for another loop. Wendigos. There are apparently Wendigos on the mountain too. Here I thought my dreams wouldn't have any supernatural elements to them, man was I wrong.

It seems like my family is pretty much the same in my dreams. I'm not sure if that's comforting or depressing.
