$2 dollar beers, $5 beer and a shot, tonight at Johnny's Saloon in Huntington Beach. Happy hour goes till 8pm, and we are fucking open till 4am. Sorry kiddies, got to be 21 to get in.

I found a doll sitting on my coffee table this morning. A dirty, shabby looking doll with this ratty dress and button eyes. I'm assuming it came from my dreams considering the creep factor. What am I supposed to do with a doll?

Ugh, I hate the cold. I woke up freezing this morning because in my dream I was walking through the snow to get to a gate that would lead to a cable car to get up to the lodge we're staying at. Go figure the gate was busted, so I had to climb over a rock wall to get in. The strangest thing was waking up and finding the note from a guy named Chris on the gate lying on my bed. I think what makes it so strange is that I don't know him here, but in my dreams I consider him a close friend.

Many thanks to the conniving masterminds behind that surprise shower (and Zee for sacrificing her abode!), and many thanks for the abundance of meat I've only seen in medieval feasts in dreamland. I've been spending every waking moment of free time organizing the shit out of the nursery. And laughing at my own hormonal OCD. And then crying because the cat knocked everything over.

On another note, I flipped through the stinky old books I got from the dreamfairy, and there's a sealing spell that protects property against magical and natural fire. Well, alright, it's more of a ritual because it's tedious and time consuming, but around here a little extra insurance around these parts against the weird elements doesn't hurt.

If anyone wants the steps/ingredients, let me know. I'll send copies. I'll be setting it up for our own place for, uh, the obvious reasons. I can't remember what number we're on when it comes to TV replacements but it's pretty freakin' astounding how much money goes to preparing the shit we've broken.

People and their strange dreams...

So... what the hell is everyone on that they keep having crazy ass dreams?!

I was a pretty lucky mummy yesterday. Kira decided that we should still celebrate Mother's Day like we would have back home so I got breakfast in bed, flowers and a beautiful card. Days like yesterday are pretty damn perfect and make me think I'm doing a pretty good job at raising my kid.

I'm not quite sure how I'm supposed to react to receiving...gifts from my dreams? Or the fact in some alternate place I'm practically brainwashed by religion.

It's not real. It shouldn't be real. And yet, I have this tool and I'm meant to use it to protect people from magic? Because "magic exists to serve man, and never to rule over him."

Well... This last dream sure was unexpected

New apartment hunting is go! In a related note, I have a studio for sale. Loft apartment overlooking a very large work space. Originally for an artist be easily converted into anything you want.

Nothing wrong with it but I don't need something like it anymore.

I need to be more mindful of what I say, after a few drinks. Having to cover up marks from Saturday night isn't as easy as I remember Still, I did have a good time out and back home.

I was thinking of planning a party. My main criteria is glow-in-the-dark body paint and glitter...because of...reasons. I'd say I would host it, but my place isn't that big and I don't want to have glitter as a permanent decoration.

Is "things randomly appearing in your house" the Weird Thing this week? Because if not I need to change my locks.

Dream Aramis is useless. I'm completely useless. First we lost the King, and now I'm solely responsible for a plan going wrong and losing Porthos.

One day, maybe, I'll surprise myself by not making a mess of things.

I seem to have joined the ranks of those who have received items from their dreams. I woke up this morning to find the Sonic Screwdriver I had in my dream from a few weeks ago. It's quite impressive. A little beat up, but impressive none the less.
