I really, really, really wish I was old enough to drink.

There's a new girl in my life, and I think I may be in love. She has the softest hair and her eyes are gorgeous. When she calls, I can't help but come running. Since we met, she's demanded nothing short of my full attention.

Kind of funny that we base our days on that, but what can you do.

I don't have much else to share besides IT'S A BOY!!!11! which we found out a little after Valentine's Day, and we're currently doing up the nursery (safari theme, very not cheesy or related to Neverland or fairy tales, thank fuck). Which brings me to my question: Anyone out there make furniture, or know someone who does? Em and I were interested in getting a rocking chair for the nursery, and I thought something hand-crafted would be nice. There are still a few months 'til we'd need it, so hopefully that's enough notice.

I woke up to find the throwing knives from my dreams on my bedside table. I know what I'll be doing after classes today :)

I'm so far behind in college work I can't even...and yet my response to it has been to screw off and watch mindless stuff. I think I'm broken.

Since the incident with the device, it seems like every night after that I've had a dream of what I've come to consider my other life. My brother finally showed up in them. I had no idea who he was either, and that in and of itself is heartbreaking because of what happened here a few years ago.

At least there wasn't anything freaky here the last time I woke up, just a dirty red leather vest that I'd worn in my dreams.

FUN FACT! there are millions of formally dressed skeletons living under the surface of the earth! the zombie apocalypse is gonna be a black tie affair. they'll serve horrors doeuvre, raisin brains and the flesh of the living on a stick and im sure itll be a hell of a party too, a bone knocking good time

I'M SO NOT A BAD GUY IN THE DREAMS!

I dreamt of the attack on the village in Jakku, but I didn't fire on any of the villagers. I just couldn't. It was like the mining thing all over again, just gunning down innocents in the name of the First Order. I think I was hoping Phasma didn't notice again but when we got back, she asked me to turn in my weapon and ordered me to reconditioning. She knows.

I lost Slip though. He got killed in all the chaos. Poe...I think you shot him. :( I got to him just as he died. When I got back to base, I noticed he left a bloody hand print on my helmet; I was totally freaked out. But GUYS! I totally BAILED ON THE FIRST ORDER! I busted out Poe and we stole a TIE FIGHTER!!! (just like you said, Rey) It was so badass! This all makes more sense now!

I found myself continuing to watch Disney Jr. after I laid the twins down for their nap.

I don't even know why

I got to see Rex. An old comrade from the war. A friend. I didn't wake up crying, honest

Did anyone else eat Green Eggs yesterday? I saw this video about how red cabbage water (the stuff at-home kid scientists use to make litmus paper?) reacts with egg whites and turns them green. Amazing, right? Dr. Seuss would be so proud. You know he would have been 112 yesterday.

I had no idea that Dreams could hurt so much. People I don't know in this world have made such a huge impact on me. People I certainly hope I Dream about again, but... when they die, are they really dead? I'm going to miss her terribly, but she doesn't really exist. This is so confusing, and it hurts so much. I can't stop crying, and I'm glad I'm not working because I'd be shit behind the bar right now. I don't even know how to deal with a loss like this one.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who's ridiculously excited to go see Zootopia? Mom's watching Viv, so I can go this weekend. Just need to find someone to go with look up show times. How adorable does it look? And, apparently, it's a good movie on top of being family friendly... It's setting records and still at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Are they going to take away my adult card because I'm so excited to go see a kids movie?

I am glad to have two jobs, now. It's nice to be making money, rather than just spending from what I have 'saved.'

Anyway, anyone want to do something? I want to be around people right now.

I love my job, I really do but sometimes there's nothing I love more than coming home to a warm welcome after a long day. And now that warm welcome is doubly warm with the furry addition to our home. He's so cute I can't even be mad that he cost a small fortune in vet bills.
