This weather is absolutely ridiculous. How is it possible that it can snow this much in California? I don't understand it. This is not what I signed up for when I moved here. I was expecting a warm Christmas where I could go to the beach if I wanted. Not this.

I feel like this is a bad omen for the rest of the holidays.

Or the new year.

Or both.

So this is a bit weird a request, and I'm sorry if I'm not posting this in the right place. I'm here for a conference for the next two weeks during Christmas of all and I'm trying to find something to do. Unfortunately, it's snowing outside so all the standard California stuff seems to be out for the moment. Does anyone have some ideas for something fun to do?

I feel silly saying this, but I keep thinking about that meteor shower the other night. Maybe Vanessa's right and there was something different about it, but the little kid in me felt compelled to make hisself a wish.

All right me, I made a wish. But it just felt sort of magical, and not in that freaky supernatural way my dreams usually are. A nice sort of magic.

So, what are the rest of we family-less bastards going to do on the holidays? it's my first christmas alone ideas are good.

Man, I'm so glad my mom is chill, otherwise the four squirrels running around my apartment in little reindeer ear headbands would be weiiiiiiird.

I never knew going out dancing could be so much fun! I want to go out again!

I am disappointed that this month's ArtStop was about music I couldn't give it.

I want people to hear me as I'm meant to be heard.

For those employees of the Need/Want, let me know if you want to be open on Christmas or not. It's up to you. Either way, stop by the office for your holiday gifts.
