Cast off, yay! All in time for finals. Boo. But then three weeks of freedom and able to do things more easily so I think it all works out! My feet can feel like feet again with proper shoes. Probably the most important thing really.

Oh my God. I was distracted from my final by Buddy the Elf wandering into the classroom. He started to hang up paper snowflakes all over before the professor could get security in to escort him out.

It was probably the most amazing thing ever.

Had a pretty great weekend enjoying the snow and decorating for Christmas... until Viv spiked a fever last night and nearly sent us to Urgent Care. They fit her in this morning at the Pediatrician's office... ear infection. Merry Christmas.

I think the crying may have stressed out Veronica. Can Viv and I come and stay with you guys for a couple of nights, until the antibiotics kick in?

While I was shopping downtown, I saw a green fuzzy dude tried to take a kid's present. I'm not a huge fan of the holidays - I've never had a family before - but that's just low. So I kicked the dude in the crotch and gave the kid her present back.

He said he was the Grinch and that I had a colder heart than him.

Does this make me Queen Grinch? I'm kinda okay with it.

This is very important.

But if anyone comes across Mr. Hanky, I want to know.

The snow's really pretty, it reminds me of home. which is bad in and of itself.

I've been having really bad nightmares lately. What do you all do when you're awake at 3AM and can't get back to sleep? I've been studying or quietly sneaking out to Taco Bell.
