I was Skyping with my mother earlier today and she noticed the violin case on my bed and asked what it was, considering that until now, I've never actually been able to play an instrument. I told her that it was mine and she asked to hear it. Suffice to say, she was incredibly shocked at how well I played it and was even moved to tears. She wanted to know how I'd gotten so good in so little time. I obviously couldn't tell her that it was because of a dream, so I told her that I'd simply finally found an instrument that I was good at.

It still is a little bizarre, but I've come to enjoy playing the violin and I'm even thinking of auditioning for the holiday show at school.

I suppose it would be courteous of me to mention the fact that I am now...

I can't believe it's still snowing. It's not really supposed to be still snowing, is it?

Woke up today to coffins taking over my living room. Empty, of course, to satisfy anyone's morbid curiosity.

How splendid. Although this sure as fuck wasn't on my Christmas list, Santa.

New state. New city and new apartment. New apartment means I get to decorate. I guess I'll be spending the next couple of days moving my furniture around and making a list of everything else I'm gonna need. New curtains for sure. I'll have to find a fabric store so I can have some made and maybe I'll reupholster my armchair too. I guess that depends on what I get for curtains. I'm thinking of maybe painting the livingroom too. I'll definitely be painting my bedroom and the kitchen though. This is gonna take awhile, but I'm excited to do it.
