I'm not usually one of those girls who takes pictures of their shoes and things, but I just couldn't resist this time. I had to show off my new snazzy workout shoes and leggings.

I'll try not to make this a habit.

This is going to be an interesting time of year. My first Christmas with my son since shortly after he was born, my first Christmas with Elphaba.

How different the holidays are in my dreams. Oh there is always singing, and lights and magic. But the rituals are very different, as are the holy thing. When one's own mother is a being not unlike a demi-goddess, religion takes on a whole new meaning.

And we never had much use for a thanksgiving, though we had many things to be thankful for.

I haven't had a blog since I was about 15, so this is weird for me.

Anyone else going shopping for Black Friday? I need someone else who is willing to battle the lines with me at the mall to get some killer deals on some clothes. Plus I need a distraction from the dreams that are plaguing me.
