I never used to enjoy the theatre that much, since I never really had time for it. But I have to say, the local theatre here has some fantastic young talent. I'm looking forward to seeing Romeo and Juliet this summer.

So after taking into consideration, the suggestions I got summer pie flavors, I have two new pies debuting this weekend at The Pie Hole.

Apricot Strawberry Hazelnut and Apple Blueberry. Both pies will be available starting tomorrow for both slices and full. We'll also be taking orders if we happen to sell out, but then again, we're always taking orders for pies.

And while I'm thinking about it, we need at least two more waitresses or waiters. So, if anyone is interested please let me know.

I don't even know what to do with Aramis right now. He's underneath his blankets, sulking because of Spain's loss.

I tried making his favourite cookies and wafting them towards the door, but he only resurfaced long enough to take some and then burrowed back again.

This is a bit ridiculous. I don't know how to console him. He just mumbles grumpily at me in Spanish when I try.

I think this is the most time I've ever spent in a Hospital. My father recently joined his friend in here. Now they're on beds next to each other, which is the closest I think they've been in a while.

It's just heartbreaking that whatever rift there was between them is being closed like this. And she doesn't even know, because she's still not waking up.

Aramis
I hope Spain's defeat hasn't hit you too hard. I'm sorry I've been too busy to console you.

So, according to my dreams, living with a guy you can't touch without dying is a really involved process. But Ned's so sweet and thoughtful. He installed a plexiglass window down the middle of the front of his car and put a glove through it so we can hold hands.

Also we solve murder mysteries with the help of dead people to get money. So that's cool.

God, this is weird. I can't believe I'm doing this.
Let's hope this works.
Oh, well, here goes nothing...

I have a good friend who I think deserves a date with a nice guy. She and I have been on strings of dates with losers lately, and have tried everything from Speed Dating to Internet Dating (match.com, etc.). It's been disastrous. We thought we'd try something new this time.

My friend Joan is a wonderful person. She's intelligent, witty and beautiful. She has a great job, keeps herself well groomed, and makes enough money to support herself.

Thought I'd test the waters and see if there are any eligable bachelors out there who would be interested in a date (or possibly a double date) with Joan.

My daughter made me a cake for Father's day, and we've already eaten most of it. Happy early Father's Day, everyone.
