AHHHHGHLGHAGA!!! FINE TIME TO GET THE FLU!

Always when there's the promise of adventure, isn't it? "Come down to this blockade! Ultra violence! Smite dark bad things! Enjoy!" Too right I WOULD enjoy a fine bit of good guy sanctioned ultra violence, if I didn't feel like every joint in my body was smashed by a sledgehammer after I'd been hit by a lorry, transporting a load of snot!

While the rest of it is some nasty flu, I'm certain the sniffles are allergy related. I took some anti-snotty non-drowsy allergy pills and that part cleared right up! Aches and pains didn't. I must've had some serious fatigue too since I got a bad case of the snoozy and had a weird dream about living in a place with no windows under A Red Loo Inn. Mind, it was said with a slightly odd accent even I can't place and we're a mishmash of everything. Who lives exclusively in the vast basement of an inn named after a bloody toilet?! Were we the hired help the inn owner was ashamed of letting out?? Why was it all doors and no windows?!

AND WHY WAS MY SUDDENLY-TALLER-THAN-ME MOM EVEN HAIRIER THERE???!!!

I think I'd better step away from the meds from now on, in case that's what caused it.

That might have been a bit too wild an adventure. The whole world is made of pain. Why is the coffee so far away. How is it I'm able to type on my phone so accurately when the screen's light is trying to kill me?

I can't wait until finals are done and it's SPRING BREAK. But for now, it's back to the college grind.

At this point, I'm going to need to buy another battle axe.

Some bastard stole one of my crutches at the pub last night. I don't care how hammered or how cool you think you are, who does that? He's just lucky I didn't catch him do it. Torn up knee or not, I would have given him a real reason to need it.

I don't know what's going on, as I get the impression I'm not allowed to know. But I've asked the priest at the church I volunteer at - St. Paul's Episcopal in Tustin - to keep the church basement open, if anyone needs a place to rest or pray. I wish I could do more.
