Crap! Why did I do that? I sent Alyssa and Stephanie flowers. Why. Why did I do that? This is why someone needs to stop me from doing anything ever! Bran, that's supposed to be your job! What am I supposed to do now?

Since my roommates are going out tonight, it looks like it's gonna be just me, a pint of ice cream and Netflix tonight. Not as exciting as last Valentine's Day. Oh and just so no one thinks I've become a complete shit in, I have started going back to the gym. I told my coach I'd had mono back in January, since I couldn't tell him the real reason I wasn't coming to the gym.

I attempted to make heart-shaped pancakes this morning. But they came out looking...rather unsavory. They looked like ball sacks when you turned them upside down. I also burned the eggs. I'm hopeless in the kitchen.

Oh yeah, because the person I wanted to have a sex dream about on Valentine's Day would be Damon Salvatore. Yeah, no. What the fuck was dream me thinking!? Spend six months with a guy who is a notorious lier and asshole and suddenly she thought she'd fixed him!? Dream me is not as smart as I thought. OH! And then he left me up on a roof in the sun and told me that he'd tricked me cause I'd annoyed him. What an asshole. Now excuse me while I go bleach my brain before leaving for the weekend with the man I would like sex dreams about....and also the real thing.

Totally going out for beers tonight. The bars are either A) empty, because all the dudes took out their girlfriends/wives/boyfriends for the holiday, or B) filled with single and lonely people who are just dying to buy a pretty girl a drink.

I haven't decided if I am going to do anything tonight or not. I may have totally forgotten about the holiday as a whole.

My coworkers have been handing out candy today in large amounts. I've collected something of a plethora of heart shaped sweets.

I am... uncertain of why they exist. They don't taste good, and the messages written on them aren't especially "cute". I can't be the only person who doesn't appreciate the misspelling of "you're".

So.... this is stupid, but is it normal to be this nervous about a date? I mean, it's Valentine's Day so there's that extra element to it. But it's been forever since I've done something for Valentine's Day and dating isn't my forte lately. Does this make him my boyfriend?

Ugh, every idea I come up with of something to do tonight quickly turns into the worst idea ever in my mind. Go to the bars and drink until I drop? Nah, don't do that - it'll be full of gross guys who will hit on you. Go to the gun range? Nah, don't do that - it'll be full of gross guys who will hit on you. Go down to the beach and do some late night surfing/swimming? Nah, don't do that - it'll be fun of gross guys who will hit on you.

It sucks when the guy you like is all zombie-fied So, I'm debating between some wine and netflix or just sucking it up and hitting up some of the Greek parties nearby.

Feel free to come on down to Granny's if you need a place to take your date. We fancied up the place for the evening and have some special items on the menu. Unfortunately I couldn't convince the staff to sing and dance or something exciting, but whatever! It'll still be a fun night and I won't be there too late tonight. Still not 100% sure if I'll do anything tonight, but I'm almost tempted to head up to the LA area and see what my friends are up to there.

Got my tiny little Valentine some new toys for Valentine's Day and my lovely wife red roses and cooked a romantic dinner for her.
