Does anyone know if the dreams follow you? Like if I were to go out of town for a few days would I still have them or do they just happen here in the OC?

Wow... just as I thought fifth edits might be needed, I got the word, my book has been accepted as is from the fourth edit and rewrite. And I will know next week about a publication date.

It took me so long to get a second book accepted, I was starting to think it would never happen, and now it has. And all I can think is wow.

I think I might have to just put down some roots here in Orange County. This place is super amazing with it's craziness, you know? It's like... never a dull moment, even if your dreams turn into nightmares, right?

First this monster thing... and it ruined my camera! SO ANNOYING. It's a good thing I left my phone in the car. But hey! MONSTER! That never happens in London. And despite what Anime and monster movies might lead you to believe, it doesn't really happen in Japan either.

THEN someone promises me a pony. I just can't even. This place! I love you guys. <3

Since it's already Monday I might as well post this.

If you don't have somewhere to celebrate Thanksgiving and would enjoy a home cooked meal please let me know. Granny's will be closed for Thanksgiving, but Granny and I are happy to open up our house to anyone who wants company for the holiday. We obviously make some amazing food, so you should really come spend time with us.

OH! And if anyone wants to join me I will be attending the LA Mission Thanksgiving Celebration to help feed the homeless on Wenensday. Info is here [ooc - let's pretend it's not full]

I really appreciate the gesture, but if everyone could stop gifting me menorahs at work? I have eight, one for each night of Hanukah, which is ... not really how it works.

I'd also have, for future reference anyone who works with me or is one of my patients who reads this (Watson, I think you're the only one, but I'm thinking wishfully), gifts in the form of donations to cancer charities.

This is my first real holiday where I'm not going back to see my parents. It's odd, but I think I'm going to like spending it with friends too. Well friends and my boyfriend anyway. I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. I've had so many, and yet in my dreams I'm British and it's so confusing.

Sometimes I talk in an accent that I've never had before. Stupid dreams.

Speaking of dreams, there was a tiny perverted vampire in mine. Who turns kids anyway?
