I think I remember a post about a trip to Magic Mountain sometime this weekend -- is that still happening? Because I think I'd like to go if it is. I've never been on a rollercoaster before, and I think it's high time I did something about that.

So, eighteen doesn't feel that different from seventeen. I guess I thought I'd suddenly feel grown up or something. I don't know. Everyone talks about how eighteen means you're an adult, but I don't feel like an adult. Maybe I've gotta give it a few weeks. I did just turn eighteen yesterday after all.

Alright, two things:

1. I'd like to talk to whoever the hell is in charge of naming monsters. This crap is getting out of hand. I mean how the hell is anyone supposed to take something called a friggen Rugaru seriously? Sounds straight out of Scooby Doo. Related to that (so thing 1a, I guess?) I feel like I should start taking some kind of tally about the number of times something tries to eat me or Sammy in these dreams.

2. Welcome home, baby.

Heading down to Newport Beach to ogle the pretty boys (and girls, mostly the boys). Would anyone care to join me? It's hardly much fun by myself.

Shit, my knees hurt worse than when Kitty works us to death. Note to self, the patio is evil. But I guess it's not as bad as that morning I woke up after that one dream about practically getting blown up. Now that hurt.

I didn't realize so many people were going to Magic Mountain this weekend. Should be fun. Bran, you can hold my hand if you get scared.

Chopped the braids off today, went back to shorter hair. It felt like a good time to do it.

My head feels so light, now. It's pretty amazing how heavy your hair can get.

Hello there, lovely network of people. My name is Thackery Binx and I am a local veterinarian in the area. My clinic, Binx Animal Hospital, is located over in Laguna Woods. I feel like I'm in the first day of school where you have to introduce yourself to everyone. What else can I say? I'm from Salem, MA and I went to grad school here in California. The lack of winter won me over and I've been here ever since.

The summer has been enjoyable, but I'm ready to start helping my dad at the hospital again. I'm ready for early morning classes, spending time with the wife and daughter, a few hours of sleep and late night shifts. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
