Ok, so I know I'm a scientist and everything, but today I had one of those '...huh...' moments where something just kind of clicks in your head and it makes sense.

I was watching the sunset on my roof and thinking about how I could look at it pretty much directly because the light has to filter through more of the atmosphere and so absorbs more of the energy and it just hit me that even though it looks like it's setting, we're the ones moving.

Now yes, I have known this since I was a young girl. I know the equations, the physics of it but it just...clicked in my head that somewhere else on the planet's surface the light from that amazing ball of gasses fusing together is pouring down on someone else as sunrise or mid-day while it just hangs in space. I just...I'm a little mind-boggled which probably hasn't helped me explain but I wanted to share.

Destination, Determination and Deliberation.

Well. I had all three, and I seemed to have managed apparition for the very first time. I figured it was about time to make the effort, since in my dreams I had just gotten my license for it.

They were not wrong, it definitely makes you vomit the first go around. Fairly unfortunate that, but at least I was prepared to expect it.

Hermione, were you still interested in learning? Also, I've finished your book and mean to return it.

It really is terrifying that we're over halfway through the year now. How is that even possible?

I feel like time speeds up expoentially after 35.

I should probably stop smoking.

Does anyone else have an animal that does not like air conditioning? One would think that a cat like Chairman Meow, who is a long haired cat, would prefer to be in an air conditioned room, but he tends to spend most of his time stretched out on the kitchen floor looking miserable and when I bring him into the living room or my bedroom, he leaves two seconds later. I suppose I'll never quite understand cats. Or him, for that matter.

So I am now signed up to a series of refresher courses at Irvine General and St Joseph's. They were unsurprisingly very happy to have me up my skill levels. I have a feeling my shifts are going to get a lot more varied once the courses are completed.

On another note I want to send my public congratulations to Merlin and Audrey on their recent engagement!

Things have been pretty good lately, I've started up my own company called Connor Computing Ltd and already have a number of contracted work and a few good consultants working with me.

So if anybody needs any computer assistance, security, software, hardware, anything really drop me a line and I'll see what I can do.

My daughter has just gone through all her toys and packed up the ones that she feels she has outgrown. Next thing I know, she'll be asking her father to teach her how to drive. I knew it was coming, but I'm not sure how I should feel about this.

3D movies have come quite a long way, haven't they?

Sometimes there's only one thing to do when you're faced with this world, all the crap in it, and see things continually getting worse for others as time keeps going on. Sometimes it's not the time to be totally selfish and keep the abilities the dreams have been giving me a secret anymore.

So I think this post is actually me offering help, seeing what I can do if anybody on this thing knows somewhere you can train abilities or where they're gonna be needed later on when something like those blue things crops up. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm an in actual place where I can help, and it's better I don't just hide in the corner whimpering anymore.

I guess in other words, like I said in my dreams, this is me standing up if anybody wants that still.

Starting to think my dreams only exist to confuse me.

I can understand being brought back from the dead. I can't understand why whatever did it completely wiped our memories of what came before... what if we didn't completely wipe out the enemy? We'd have no way of knowing.

Working on a new song and album! :D Exciting work!!! Exhausting! But in a really really good way!!!

I know its not a BIG deal if I don't know what I want to major in by the first day of college but I keep thinking about it.

I mean I really like event planning. It's something I am really good at and I really think I could enjoy doing every day. My dad keeps pushing me to consider other degrees that are more reputable. Something like a nursing program or a degree in law. Great jobs but I'm not quite sure they're me.

I mean how cool would it be to be the person that organizes and puts together an event. A celebration or something. Knowing that you made their day?

There's still time. I'm sure I'll figure it out at some point.

In other news, I think I'm in need of ice cream.

It's official, I hate this place terribly.

All right, the OC hasn't done anything wrong but it's the general fact that I regrettably must live within the same county as the people who I should supposedly refer to as my family.

Would any of you care to help me move? I'm not really bringing much, but I'm taking the piano whether they like it or not. And my music collection is very heavy.

A summary of my day:

- Rosa shut off my alarm so I was late for work.
- Got yelled at by my dad because I was late.
- My parents didn't have any of my favorite lunch food when I went upstairs on my break.
- A customer got angry with me because their food wasn't right like it's my fault.
- I got hit on by a cute guy got got his number.
- I'm tired as hell and my sister is having a party.

There's only one positive thing there. Someone remind me why I went back to work for my parents? Or live with my sister? Perhaps I need to reevaluate my choices again ...

I am honestly not sure if any of you will care, but I just got invited to Gastronomika Conference, in San Sebastian, Spain. It's supposed to be for the best chefs around the world, but oftentimes up-and-coming chefs are invited to be guests. If I'm a guest, I will enjoy myself immensely. If I'm presenting, I may explode.
