Trying to sleep but every time I doze off I get new dreams.

I'll never understand science. I don't even know if it's possible to ... You know. Do that to a person so quickly? Too bad the awe had to be spoiled. Like a dream turned nightmare turned really weird.

I'm never gonna get this song out of my head. Every bond you buy is a bullet in the barrel of your best guy's gun. Really?

First things first: 1st Lieutenant Nicholas Wolfwood, U.S. Army, most recently of the 1st Armored Division. Just off the plane from Afghanistan, and I mean I landed an hour ago, so I'm jet-lagged to hell.

Second ... can someone maybe tell me what the everloving fuck happened to Vegas?!

Now that we are alien free, I can go back to work. Clary was accepted to art school, which is both great and shit at the same time. I don't really know what that makes us. I don't like the term separated. It makes us seem old. I don't like long distance relationships. Skype doesn't quite make things right.

The better news is that my agent called and I have two new shoots coming up, and money in the bank from the last one.

Now all I need is a life.

Not sure how I feel about harvesting human organs from other animals. From an intellectual perspective, it's absolutely fascinating. Another step forward in scientific research. From a moral perspective, though? I don't know where humans and animals fall on the "who's more important" scale. Is a life a life, or is one life more valuable than the other?

I'm glad I work with computers. We don't have the same kinds of moral dilemmas. Well, until the robots become sentient.

Getting all my ducks in order for the next movie I'm working on. I'm so thrilled! I've got some really great people working with me, and I'm loving it so far. Can't wait for filming to start in August!

I woke up from some pretty crazy dreams last night to find my dress from the Grand Galloping Gala in my closet. Not that I can wear it, it's designed for a pony. But still. It's pretty amazing.

Dreamed about Rainbow Dash and her turtle last night. And then when Rainbow Dash went on a spree vying for attention by saving people. We all taught her a lesson there. And then we went to Canterlot because Rarity's cat was sick, and had Twilight's birthday party there.

It was nice to have a bit of sunshine-like dreams even when the real world has been so dark lately.

When did it become July? My Bar exam is at the end of the month and I'm trying not to mentally count down the days and freak myself out. Thankfully Percy Weasley has been an amazing help in coming up with some practice exams and my friend, Sam, has helped remind me to just calm down and not over study. I feel pretty prepared and I almost wish time would go faster so I could take the exam and be done.

On another note, I had another of my Dreams last night. It was more space time adventures. I got away from my home planet with the help of the Jedi and we were in a bit of a space battle with other ships. Thankfully this amazing droid called R2D2 helped fix the ship enough for us to land on another planet. Qui-Gon and I decided to head into the planet's main downtown to find parts for the ship which was definitely an interesting experience. We found a shop to help us get pieces, although the owner (another alien) was definitely greedy and sleazy, and met a boy that he had as a slave. YES, a slave. That infuriates me so much that not everyone in this universe is free (I know it's weird to get upset over things in a world that doesn't exist, but basic human rights). He seemed like a very sweet boy though and invited us over for dinner, which is where my dream ended. I'm really curious as to what is going to happen.

Well, this crisis has certainly been...interesting. Thankfully it didn't arrive on my doorstep like so many others, and therefore my family is unharmed. Still, it has been a curiosity.

You really don't know how nice your own bed and your own bathtub really is until you get stuck in an office building for weeks!

I just went an' had a three hour soak in our bathtub. Three Hours! And I wasn't even interrupted once! It was so wonderful! And then I made myself a delicious brunch with those preserves Theo gave me!

I don't think I ever wanna take havin' a home for granted again.

Well this has been a horrible week. Really only one way it could be worse but Jess seems to be doing fine.

Learning the hard way that being invulnerable isn't always being invulnerable.

Going to do something next week I haven't actually done in years.

So I finally had a dream like lots of other people seem to have on here. It's not so different from my life, like my parents and uncles are the same but a one big thing is it's in a kind of medieval type of world. It's actually pretty cool!

But the best bit has to be that I'm a Princess! A real life proper princess because dad is the king.

If Galaxia is anything to go by, I worry that this may've just been the beginning So. I've probably asked this exact same question before, but considering how often people have new dreams... well, it's one that's good to repeat.

Does anyone else dream of being a demigod? In my dreams, I'm the daughter of Chronos - I guard the door of time for him for quite a while.

If I must turn thirty-two today, at least I did it in style - The Mirror is officially open for business! I saw a few of you come in and out of the store, and I hope very much that all of you find my stock to your liking.

In fact, I'm feeling generous; if you come into the shop and mention you're on the network (and I can prove it), I'll take 15% off anything you order.

It pays to be pushy, sometimes. I lit a fire under the ass of my construction company, since we have so many thirsty new people on the network. The Den will be reopening in mid-August, the 16th, to be exact. If you're looking for a place to get a beer and enjoy the Cubs game (or the Vikings and Bills preseason game, or the Little League World Series), I hope to see you there.

Now that those attacks have finished everything is slowly getting back to normal. I finally start my new job next week and I've almost unpacked everything in my new place.

Remember how people said 'it could always be worse' to you when you were a kid, ostensibly to get you to cheer up?

Paula Deen is allegedly going to do nude modeling for a site called PureMature.com. Somewhere, somehow, that woman is going to be naked and on the internet.

It just got worse.

Now that the alien zombies are gone, Disneyland opened back up and we have our Christmas ornaments on sale now too. I was pursuing them during my break and I found the perfect one for me and Huck. So, anyone who knows us, knows that Huck writes Steampunk novels and I, obviously, work at Disneyland. So when I saw this, I couldn't resist.

JULY 13TH! GALA AT BAXTER BAKERY!

With all the aliens and zombies and crazy things that have happened lately, it nearly slipped my mind that there's going to be a huge party at Baxter Bakery this Saturday. All of Valarnet is invited! Please come and see the local artwork on the walls, listen to our local musicians perform, and enjoy Baxter Bakery sweets and drinks. It's fully catered by the Bakery, and free of charge.

Hopefully after such trying, dangerous and frightening times, we can all let loose a little, celebrate life, and enjoy one another's company.

Ugh. Why is it every time I get my life together and get settled and happy some ex-fling emails me wanting to get back together? The Geordie wants to move to the States and try to get me back. Where was this fighting spirit when I left him because he was cheating on me? Oh, right, he must've left it in the other woman.

I swear, it's like some cosmic bell goes off - Alice Ayres is happy! Exes, start annoying her by post or email!

I know I'm in the minority, but I have one bad thing about the almost space zombie apocalypse being over. Mum's home. If I find another fertility doll in my bedroom, I am going to have to do something drastic.

Fortunately, I know just the bloke to mail them to. Logan, you don't mind if I've put them in your house, do you? Your daughter seemed to find it okay.
