Well, California is an interesting place.

My name is Silas Benjamin. Soon you'll be able to see my show on the United Christian Channel, which I'd like you to watch as a personal favour to me. I'll also be making posts on this network from week-to-week about the place that God has in our lives, and how to listen to him.

For those of you who don't know me or know the Lannister name, I am Tywin Lannister and you ought to know that already. There's a severe lack of knowledge in this country, a lack of knowledge about surroundings, industry, history, science, all of it. When I see ridiculous fools on the television spouting inane prattle I'm reminded of that old Isaac Asimov statement.

There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."

He does have an excellent point, even if he was a damned liberal.

Hey, Valarnet! Caroline finally convinced me to get one of these. I'm Elena Gilbert, I'm a senior at Huntington Beach High School. When I graduate I'm going to UC Irvine, though. I'm going to major in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing.

Oh, yeah, and my twin sister Katherine will probably be showing up sometime too. For the record: I straighten my hair. Katherine keeps hers curled. Just fyi.

No, you're not seeing double. Im Katherine, otherwise known as the FUN Gilbert twin.

School is almost over and I couldn't be happier. Of course, my parents have really picked up the nagging about my decision to not go to college, but whatever. I'm looking forward to it all the same.

For the moment, though? I'm BORED. None of my usual haunts sound appealing and I want to go out and have some fun. So the obvious question is who is going to take me out and show me a good time?

Havin' weirdly specific dreams about bein' born in Ireland. I know my parents are bright and sparklingly just offa the boat, but I was born here. See? Citizenship. Now stop mocking me for my accent.

Also, Murph, I dreamed you and I were twins. HA. If we were twins, I was the handsome one.
