Not gonna lie, I was very tempted to go on over to the Hollywood Walk of Fame today for The Backstreet Boys Star Ceremony thing. You don't see NSYNC with a star on the Walk of Fame, now do you? Nope. Just goes to show who had the staying power and which boy band was better. No girl here, over the age of twenty five can say that they didn't have BSB or NSYNC debates.

I never want to see anything like that again. What the Reapers did to Palaven...

There's something very, very strange about dreaming of having nightmares.

I swear, Gaius knows more than he's letting on about them... they're not normal nightmares. They're too vivid. Is this magic?

I'm starting to feel like perhaps I should move to France or New Zealand with my girlfriend. At least some countries have the right idea when it comes to marriage.

I have a very important doctor's appointment coming up and this time I'm nervous. I'm usually not nervous, but I am this time. I don't know why that is. I guess having a drink before I go isn't a good idea.

Also if Doctor Strange is out there, you and I should talk.

Today I decided to try some place new for lunch. Mostly because someone went into the fridge at work and ate my lunch. They even left a note that just said 'sorry' in place of where my food used to be. I suppose if they were starving and didn't have any money...

In any case, I went to a sandwich shop and it was heavenly. I think I might have to try there again soon. Something tells me that the lunch bandit won't stop with just one lunch. I suppose I'll have to buy a lock, won't I?

Zofran is a gift from God. Staying home today, but feeling so much better. I might get some laundry done.

Apparently the SNP Microarray testing that I'd like to have done (safer and just as affective as an amniocentisis) isn't covered by my insurance. They don't think it's "Medically Necessary." So I've got to go my own route.

You don't have any ideas as to where I might be able to have this sort of testing done, do you? How much would it cost to hire someone at Stark to do the test?

I just bought a set of these. For myself. Because I'm awesome. I think they'll be best frozen.

That was the worst dream I've ever had.

Who knew finding a job after being on house arrest would be so hard? I've got to disclose all of that information and employers would rather hire someone who doesn't have a criminal record, go figure. I think it's back to the club with me. Are any of my regulars still on this thing?

Red Widow boot camp is hard. They're really kicking our asses this time. My trainer has me on this diet of high protein so I'll build some muscles. I guess I was too skinny looking to really sell the super hero angle they're going for. Whatever, I don't care! It's been fun and I'm starting to look good. Now I just need to get my publicist to get me a photoshoot to promote the series so I can get all dolled up and show off my new figure.

As a Christian woman sometimes it is hard for me to understand why God does the things he does to us down here on Earth. Why are there plagues? Famine? Fighting? Death? Why do God's people treat each other so horribly? Sometimes even in his name?

And then I remind myself that God gave us free will so we would have a choice to love him, so it would mean so much more. Without the bad there would be no good. The media likes to show us all of the things going wrong with the world, but there is also good out there. People helping each other just out of the goodness of their hearts. We have to remember that.

I found this to be fascinating. Just thought I'd share. Now back to studying for finals.

My daughter has just informed me that she wants to come and live with me for the next school year. I'm not sure how she came to this decision or what prompted it, and I'm not sure how to respond. While it would be wonderful to have her around, I'm not sure that my profession goes well hand in hand with being a single father of a pre-teen.

The only thing I know for a fact is that it's incredibly difficult to say no to her.

I know the world is weird and sucky sometimes, but whenever things get really dark and scary, just remember: somewhere in the world there is a hot guy with tattoos and his two dogs who took in an orphaned squirrel and named it Apple Moonbeam.

Things will be okay.
