I don't know about you lot, but my experience with the crossed lines was interesting.

I spoke to a very nice Chinese man. My Chinese is a bit rusty, I learned. They use the same word for "crisis" and "opportunity," which I discovered when I thought he was trying to tell me his shop was burning down when he was really just trying to sell me a tea service.

Oh! And! I have a new tea service.

The new Bob Dylan album is great, in case anyone was on the fence about getting it. No doubt you were all waiting for my opinion.

I...have an awkward work related problem. I've realized, like within the last month, that nobody there really...respects me. Well, my boss actually does. But co-worker wise. I'm starting to realize, what with the dreams I've been having of being someone so much more awesome than I am that people really DO respect, that I need to fix my image and fix it fast.

Ideas?

Did you guys know that twinkees used to be banana flavored, and it wasn't JUST done for that king kong promo a few years ago, but that's what the original was? It wasn't until World War Two that they went to vanilla, something to do with wartime rationing. I don't get how it'd need any more or less sugar to do, but apparently that's what happened. Go figure.

Still packing a couple crates worth in the case of nuclear war though. I mean, either way, right?

I really like the expressions on the llama's face in this online game. Anythin' that says "fight off annoying peoples, before they invade your happy bouncy palace" in the description's somethin' that I wanna play. Nothin' naughty that I've seen so far. Can probably play it at work, if you can get away with that sorta thing.
