Happy Record Store Day, guys!

I've still got 5 CDs and one vinyl to give away, if anyone wants them, as well as a bunch of memorabilia of mine and some Smashing Pumpkins stuff and a Wilco CD.

Did anyone else do anything fun and music-y? We had a nice little do at the local record store and it was absolutely fantastic. Anyone I saw there, thanks for stopping in!

For all that I keep things as upbeat as possible in my posts here, and for all that I've been upbeat earlier today as I think about the weekend, there are some really tough parts too. I wasn't ready to be a parent when Medren came to stay with me, much less a SINGLE parent, and sometimes, like the last week or so, everything's hitting me all at once. We'll go from being perfectly happy and working well together to scenes like, well, right now.

Since Narcissa won't let me work in the bakery on Sunday (it's the sabbath, don't ask) I'm finishing up this huge order at the house in my kitchen. My kitchen is not big enough to make this go quickly, mind you, so it's basically taking all day. Someone remind me to thank God for that one. I'm missing out on family night.

Computers aren't really my strong point, but my son signed me up for this thing. I think he wants me to make friends or something. This is I'll admit. I'm not exactly the easiest person to get along with. Maybe a layer of anonymity is just what I need. You can call me the baroness of bud Lacy and I'm a weed dealer business woman.

Alright. So, maybe studying liberal arts wouldn't be so bad. Or I was thinking the art school right down the road might be good too. They have some interesting programs.

Would you guys consider funding part of such an en devour? Just enough to get me started. I don't think the job at the coffee shop is going to pay the admission fees.

I wish Jon would come home.

Anyone know where a fellow can find a good spot to play darts? I mean, there's always Google, but I prefer recommendations.
