Leaving in the morning! This is so exciting!

I really am nervous about checking my telescope though.

Last night was kind of stupid and I wound up with stitches and told to lay off the bow a couple of days until they're out. Yeah, I'm special enough they did the kind that don't disolve; how fun is that.

Still, it was totally worth it, and I'm back in action. Everything considered, I'm actually kind of proud. Not a bad night, even if I'm not ready to be in Batman's League, whatever that is.

I have to give a fire safety lecture tomorrow, but I'm not sure how to make the speech interesting for kids. Are there any teachers around? I could really do with some tips.

I can never sleep the night before a flight. It's not nerves, I assure you. It's just all so terribly exciting—flying! You are for all intents and purposes sitting in a chair in the SKY! Brilliant. Well done, Wright brothers—well done you two.
