A New Year's resolution is something that goes in one year and out the other.

I think I had one of those Dreams everyone keeps talking about.

I went to a school called Sanctum. It's kind of a combat school, in addition to regular learning, it teaches you how to fight and use weapons. There are these ... monsters that roam the world.

I'm something of a prodigy. I've won a regional tournament four years in a row and I'm only seventeen in these dreams. At least that is something I'm used to. I had a weapon and my armor besides my bed too. I would have dismissed it all if it weren't for that.

I woke up as I was on the way to my new school after moving, called Beacon. I don't know why, but I feel like I'm destined for something great.

Oh my gosh guys, have you seen all of this snow!?! I was already thinking: "Hey Jaune, wouldn't staying at the dorm this Christmas be SUPER cool and adult? You can do this! Your parents won't even miss you!" but now I'm thinking - woah there, those roads look REALLY unsafe. I bet they're too unsafe to drive down to San Diego, right?

I'm just going to imagine I'm seeing all of you nodding at me. "Yes, Jaune, they are." Hi, by the way. I'm Jaune. But you... probably already know that. Anyway - about that snow, do you think it's really going to stick? Cardin bet me 50 bucks it would, and I would really... really... like to keep my cash. What do you think?

So I know that some animals tend to freak out because of snow. But not Zwei! Zwei seems perfectly happy playing in the snow when I take him out for walks. Or he's just really lazy and will lay down anywhere. I think it's just him being really happy though.

Opening weekend a success besides Armand punching Percy, though I'm fairly certain this is the first time I've seen a few people go for a standing ovation before the end of the first act. Still weird to be acting out my first set of dreams nightly, sometimes twice a day in the span of two and a half hours, though I doubt it will ever not be weird, at least not by the time we wrap production on the 24th. C'est la vie. Such is the life in Orange County.

Losing my arm this time hurt way less than the last time. at least Asami found it and i'm just going ot pretend that didn't happen and everything is fine

You guys have as much fun as we did yesterday?

I feel like the last three days were an information dump of ridiculous proportions. Who needs that much information put in their heads over three days? No one is the answer.

Ugh. I'm sure it's not the last information dump I have to look forward to either.

Um, is it normal for people to just come up to you while you're trying to study for a midterm and be all "Ohmigod I love you, we should go out" just because of how you were describing something while going over a study guide? Because that's just weird and awkward and I don't even know this person and I don't think I'm ever going to study where people can come up to me at random again.

I'm pretty well over all of this whatever it is that we've been dealing with. So I hope it's over.

While any coffee shop owner can appreciate the business drummed up by inclement weather, I'm afraid that for now I must warn people to stay away from Emerald City Cafe. We are currently sitting in the eye of what looks to be a tornado. Communication seems to be unaffected, but please, for your safety, do not attempt to enter or exit the cafe grounds.

I got Myrtenaster. Which is my Multi Action Dust Rapier. This is officially the only positive thing I can say about this whole experience.

Okay, fine. I'm having the dreams. No, I don't need to divulge the details or talk about my feelings. Please do not send me messages about how hard things are. I know that, thank you. And don't offer to try to help me with this either, because I don't need help and strangers being overly friendly is creepy. I've seen you all

Anyway. Are there any performances happening in the area that aren't already heavily advertised?

Ohmygosh. I had these crazy dreams last night. I was at this school for superheroes, and I had this amazing hammer! And then I woke up this morning, and it was on my bedside table!!

These Dreams certainly have interesting parallels with reality. I'm still rather new to this Dream-memory concept, but I will admit it took a few moments to remember just which world I was in this morning. They reminded me of my days as a young man back at boarding school in England. The professors were strict, the classwork enigmatic, and the physical training exhausting.

Then again, they never sent new students flying off of a cliff. Perhaps it is for the best that I am merely a teacher in this world, rather than a founding Headmaster. The liability forms alone would level what is left of our forests.

Bastille Day really does have a different feel or meaning since dreaming of the French Revolution, especially three different times.

Oh well. After a week, we've finished doing commercial spots for Bandstand, which begins previews August 2 and opens the 9th and will run through the 4th of September. I'm quite excited for them as they turned out very well.

At least the declaration of victory in Mosul is good news that seems to be lost among other headlines. I may have helped thin the ISIS ranks around there This almost makes me want to leave my job and re-enlist in the military.

I overheard some people talking about this Valar thing, which I thought was some new restaurant or a club or something. But what do I find? This weird community with absolutely ridiculous discussion topics. Who cares what weird things people are dreaming about?

That's honestly the thing people choose to share with one another here?
