oh my god. my dreams. they're mental. they're just not normal, they're not right.

It feels good to be back at work with helping and healing people.

I almost didn't think that it was possible for my family, in the dreams, to get more dysfunctional.

First our mother is making Elijah relive memories of killing the woman he loved that she had made him forget in the first place. I told Kol that if he didn't have a certain item to kill someone else. Klaus is after our father who said witch somehow resurrected. It's all one giant mess.

I think I need a drink after this.

Okay that's it - I'm done with today. First I overslept because one of those Dreams - I've started school in them and yes it was exciting there as it was here. Which is not at all. Now I'm stuck in the drive thru because someone who already knew they were having car trouble decided to go through the drive thru rather than park and walk the maybe 20 feet from the parking lot to the door.

How do I know they knew? Because I got out to ask them what the problem was. And I can't get out of drive thru because there's a line behind me so I can't just back out. I need a vacation.

[OOC: This actually happened at my job a week or so ago. It was pretty funny for those of us on shift. Less so for the customers]

I can't believe they expected me to throw myself on a pyre because my husband died. Thank God I am as much of a rebel then as I am now. Why would I ever do that? I have a child!

Besides, life is so vast. I don't want to waste a moment and I certainly don't want to die.

I have never held a bow before in my entire life, but somehow in my dreams I'm an expert. Maybe I should pick up a new hobby or something.

The number of people coming in with neck related injuries-bites mostly-has dropped significantly. Hopefully, this means that those vampires are gone.

I'm so relieved that I didn't accidentally spoil the surprise before everyone had a bite of their cupcakes last night. This telling the truth thing is really tiresome. Any ideas when it might finally be over? But... in happier news...

It's a girl! Aramis, Porthos and I are pleased to announce that our daughter is due to come and meet the world on July 25th. We're still working on names.

I can't honestly say I've watched the superbowl before but that was quite a fun way to spend Sunday. Of course the company was a big part of that I'm sure.

I can see a few people with sore heads this morning around the building so some celebrating or drowning of sorrows must have been happening.

While most people are talking about the Super Bowl...I only watched a little of it. Mainly the commercials. Didn't care much for the teams.

Today I also watched the Kitten Bowl and Puppy bowl. Annie was insistent on it. I don't understand how people can watch it for more than five minutes.

I am so tired of those guys on the street. One of them stabbed me. Spleen removal wasn't what I had in mind today.

Finally had my first couple of dreams... they were pretty weird and I have this nasty cut on my shin, it's not bleeding or anything well not anymore I mean. And well I can safely say I'm not going to sleep for a few days, nope, nope, nope.

It really was weird... these dream memories. Meeting Stefan for the first time it was pretty unsettling not to mention those exciting school crush emotions that came after that... very weird. Not to mention of course, also meeting Damon under similar circumstances a part of me just wanted to hold him and kiss him, to tell him that I loved him and like a dream I just couldn't. It was like I was in someone else's body and I was going along for a ride. Very John Malcovich.

I'm also worried about Jeremy, I know he's a smart kid and everything and I know that in reality he wouldn't be involved in drugs but if these dreams are suppose to be memories then I guess that means he was involved with them. It kinda makes me sad that he had to turn in that direction. I want to ask him if he ever thought of taking drugs now, let alone if he had the same dream as I did... super weird. But I know it in my heart that my brother wouldn't do that. I had to ride with that.

My name is Helen Magnus. I've been in the area a while now, though I'm only just discovering this network. It looks as though it should be quite an experience.

I just spent the entire day with my sister and my adorable niece. Natty cuddles are the best cuddles. We watched Frozen, I took them out to Ruby's on the Pier for lunch. Got Natty a few new toys and after she was down for her nap, I spent some quality time with my sister.

Tats, she finally showed me the pictures she took 'spying' on us for the big proposal. But you don't get to see them until the party :)

I think I have found my Halloween costume. There was a shorter version, but I actually like the longer one better. So, no one had better cross me on Halloween or I might turn them to stone.

So between the fucked up dreams, two jobs, and 3 hours of sleep at night - it's time for a break.

Elena and I are having a house warming party on the 25th of October. It's Halloween themed, so be there in costume.

We'll barbecue in the afternoon - kid friendly. I'm making no promises as the night rolls on.

In other news - along with my heightened tolerance for alcohol is my heightened tolerance for caffeine. I think my class would appreciate movies all day. I can get some grading done.

I'm not normally home on Tuesday nights, but my board meeting was canceled tonight, so I have nothing else going on. Is there any good television on Tuesday nights?

I had a new Dream last night. For the first time since... it feels like forever. I Dreamed something new. I'm not sure what to think about it all.

So it would seem that everyone has descended into the 'pumpkin spice latte' and 'fall' fever once again. I am much ome content with a good hot tea or a black coffee, myself. What is the fascination?

You know what the only bad part about moving is? Packing. Seriously where did I even get all this stuff? I swear I must be a hoarder or something.

This would probably be a whole lot easier if I actually got a good night's sleep.

Asanti figured out how to open his stall door last night. I woke up because I heard a noise outside my window. Turn the light on and Asanti's head is on my windowsill, tapping with his nose. I think he wanted carrots. My horses seriously never cease to amaze me.

I finally stopped having dreams, the past week or so has been crazy. I dreamed about finding out Niklaus was his half brother. It seems my dream mom was kind of a hussy too. I dreamed about viking me and hisfirst sexual experience, then there was finding out werewolves exist. I had to dream about Henrik dying due to said werewolves. I had to dream about my father killing me so my siblings and I could be vampires...My first kill as a vampire...I dreamed about compelling my first love to forget me because you know, vampires = dangerous. My family Burning the white oak tree aka the only weapon that can kill us. I dreameda bout Niklaus telling him Mikael killed their mother (but it was really him). Then fast forward a bit and I dreamed about killing a warlock named Silas' worshipers because the died was bad news. Lastly I dreamed about helping my family build New Orleans.

It's like my life is done. Like I dreamed through all of it. Now...well now I just feel really sick and really weak and I don't think the hospital is going to help me.
