I think I had one of those Dreams everyone keeps talking about.

I went to a school called Sanctum. It's kind of a combat school, in addition to regular learning, it teaches you how to fight and use weapons. There are these ... monsters that roam the world.

I'm something of a prodigy. I've won a regional tournament four years in a row and I'm only seventeen in these dreams. At least that is something I'm used to. I had a weapon and my armor besides my bed too. I would have dismissed it all if it weren't for that.

I woke up as I was on the way to my new school after moving, called Beacon. I don't know why, but I feel like I'm destined for something great.

I would like to point out that, for the record, not only am I objectively a great driver, I know how to drive in the snow. Oregon is not California; a measly dusting like what we have here is not enough of a reason to give up and stay home. That being said, black ice should not be underestimated.

I'm not usually one to crowdsource my personal decisions, but I'm getting desperate: What does one get someone that they're dating interested in romantically involved with close to, when said person can literally buy and practically invent anything they would ever want?

Is anyone else experiencing any kind of weird changes…like…to themselves? As in personality habits FUCK! not being able to tell a goddamn lie?

So I know that some animals tend to freak out because of snow. But not Zwei! Zwei seems perfectly happy playing in the snow when I take him out for walks. Or he's just really lazy and will lay down anywhere. I think it's just him being really happy though.

I just woke up and my eyes are silver?! What?? Why did my eyes turn silver?!

My dreams decided to give me several items all at once. I somehow think my girlfriend is more excited about this than I am, and I am rather excited to have my armor and weapons!

But against my mother's wishes, I left Themyscira with Steve Trevor, a man I saved from drowning. He spoke of a great war were thousands of people were dying and there were weapons like no one had ever seen before. With my knowledge of this world, it was World War I he spoke of, and we arrived in London so he could take me to the war where I could confront Ares.

There's a weird level of technology in my Dreams. We've got some tech that's incredibly advanced. Like the cell-phone device I got this morning? This thing is way better than my Samsung. It makes normal calls, does two-way, messaging, emails, takes and stores video, acts as a game controller or the game, you can even connect it to a desk and display pictures and maps and whatever else. While we do have cars in the larger cities, the main mode of transportation from one place to another is boat, airship, train, but mostly horses and walking. It's weird, but a kind of peaceful weird.

Um, is it normal for people to just come up to you while you're trying to study for a midterm and be all "Ohmigod I love you, we should go out" just because of how you were describing something while going over a study guide? Because that's just weird and awkward and I don't even know this person and I don't think I'm ever going to study where people can come up to me at random again.

More Dreams! I must be in the minority when I say I actually kinda like my Dreams? But they're fun! I get to wield a huge hammer/grenade launcher that's like, the best thing ever... and my best friend is there, too! (Only he's not Dreaming, so don't tell him I said any of that.) And PANCAKES. They're the best. THE BEST.

I really need to get out on the beach and play with my hammer. PLAY. Because I need to see if I can do all the cool stuff I do in the Dreams in real life! Now I finally know what IRL truly means.

I'm pretty well over all of this whatever it is that we've been dealing with. So I hope it's over.

It’s been an interesting week to officially start my career as a professor. There were quite a few students missing from my first day of classes, not that I can blame them. Hopefully my second day is less insane.

My sword keeps getting extra heavy every time I try to use it. Sometimes it just swings too wide. This is ridiculous.

ZWEI SHOWED UP! In his mail tube! And...now I have to figure out how to tell my dad why we have a dog now.... BUT ZWEI!

I thought my dreams calmed down a little, but then they... didn't.

Coronation Day didn't exactly go well. Someone decided to marry a man she just met. And that didn't help my stress levels so I kind of got outed as an ice witch. I fled the Kingdom and escaped into the mountains, where I built this beautiful palace made of ice. As soon as I woke up I drew it.

For the first time since I was a child in my dreams, I feel free.

Best food fight EVER! I mean I guess that's to be expected when you're at a school that trains you to be Hunters and Huntresses and to fight Grimm but still! No food fight will ever top that one! It was so fun!

And then planning to investigate Torchwick and the White Fang buuuuuut no need to talk about that where uncles and headmasters can see

I've come to the conclusion that I've been wasting my life.

(Before you stop reading: Don't. I assure you, this is not another mopey, self-reflective post about the love and loss and dreams we don't ask for. It's an offer.)

It's true. I've been wasting my life, toiling as just another staff engineer at yet another fortune 500 company with an impressive name (no offense, Mr. Stark), and not doing something real with the knowledge and talent I possess. There's more to life than being trapped in a lab, being told what to make.

So, I won't anymore. As of today, I'm free to announce the creation of L, Incorporated (or, L-Corp, if you will), a technologies start-up that plans to modernize the industry from the ground up. And, frankly, I need you to come with me. I have investors, inventors, and connections already forged, but I need more.

Engineers: Whatever you're being paid currently, L-Corp is prepared to double it. If you're someone whose name and work I recognize, I'll triple it.

Students: If you are in any of the STEM fields, I'm willing to offer a merit-based paid internship.

Anyone else: If you give me a reason to hire you, I will.

I went to Huntington beach on Wednesday with my family! It was so amazing! Lots of people were surfing and kids were playing with the clams.

My little brother tried to get me to pet one and I got all squeamish and ran and he chased me! But I got him back by telling him there were scary sea lice in the sand. He stayed out of the water until I told him they won't hurt him! ..I was a little mean.

Then the later it got, we got to see.. I think they were stingrays! they were small and just swimming by. A dad and son caught one and were releasing it from their hook to throw back, they hadn't meant to get it. They just wanted a fish! I think it's against the rules to keep one anyway?

We watched them swim under the pier and I saw one get totally smacked by a wave! And then we noticed they were heading straight into the shallows where all the people were. I never heard anyone getting hurt so I think they just swam by. We watched the sun set together and ate at the restaurant there. Then my parents went on a little romantic walk down the shore while my brother and I stayed up on the pier. The moon was so big that night... I keep wondering if he's watching it too somewhere.

Ohmygosh. I had these crazy dreams last night. I was at this school for superheroes, and I had this amazing hammer! And then I woke up this morning, and it was on my bedside table!!

Given the hectic nature of my job lately, I should consider it a miracle that my dreams have progressed at all. Though at least in that dream life Miss Thorne will no longer be a thorn in my side.

It also seems more of my dream abilities are crossing over. I will need to test them out a bit more, though. I could really use being invisible right now
