One of these days, I should stretch the TARDIS' legs a bit more, journey further out into the universe. The few trips I've taken lately have gone well. It's about time to put the old girl to a true test.

The unfortunate thing about starting a new job is that when you have the itch to travel, as I currently do, you can't go anywhere.

It's just as well, Lily starts school soon so it's certainly not the best time to jet off to Europe. But Paris would be wonderful this time of year.

I don't get the appeal of Pokemon Go. I can't be the only one. A girl paused in spinning class today because a pikachu was in the middle of the gym. She stopped peddling because of an imaginary animal. This boggles my mind.

Three of my Ciao Bella employees just texted me asking for tonight off because they want to go to the new Harry Potter book event at Barns and Noble.

....since when is there a new Harry Potter book?


PS: I told them no because it was decided when I was in Middle School that I'd be a Slytherin and I want to take their joy away--plus--you know, establishment to run and all.

I've been hearing about this network and now that I'm back from Comic Con, I thought I'd join and say hi. Keep up with the latest news that's going on around here, you know? Anyway, I'm Richard Castle. I live in Huntington Beach and teach literature at UC Irvine.

I think job applications might actually be worse than my degree. That at least was enjoyable. Someone want to skip the application part and just hire me? I promise you that I know what I'm doing.
