Sometimes when people ask me what part of England I'm from I feel a little bit like a fraud, since my accent is a result of the dreams, but at the same time I love it. Pretending to be from England is more fun than actually being from New England.

I swear, it's like a completely different language is being spoken out here. How can there be so many linguistic changes from one coast line city to the next? I just moved from San Fran, not from Lebanon. I should be able to make people out.

I really hope it's the pot doing this to their brains.

I am never going to get used to having an alarm at the house. I’ve set it off every night this week coming in from rehearsal. And without knowing what time I’ll be home I can’t ask for the alarm not to be turned on. Especially since I know I’d probably forget to arm it myself when I came in.

So my parents have been talking about coming to visit and maybe helping me move since I told them I was going to move in to Simon's place and save money on rent when my lease expires - no clue how that's going to work since I'm pretty sure they aren't Nephilim are anything that would give them the Sight here unless Magnus is willing to give me a hand with it but there's time to figure that out I guess. Anyway I was looking for stuff that we could do when they came out and one of the options was an amusement park until I saw the article about that accident at Castle Park. People got injured on a wide with a 48-foot drop and even knowing chances of a repeat are low - I'm not risking that with my parents. Even at a different park.

Well, now I need a drink, or maybe a few. I'm out of my plane. I ran out of gas, but took the last German out of the sky. Instead of taking a header into the sea, I sailed over the sand, found a nice spot to land, and put it on the ground. I did have a problem having to hand crank the landing gear down, but I'm there, very much alive.

Here's the catch. I'm also alone. I'm away from the boats, my men are fuck knows where. I think they were picked up by the boats, and now I'm looking pretty screwed. As much as I hate to do it, I took my stuff out and burned my plane where I landed so they wouldn't capture the plane and any information. I watched it burn, then I heard soldiers leveling guns at my back. Fucking Hell, why can't it be the allies - but that's not how wars work. I did get on a train eventually as a POW! I played Super Mario Bro 3 last night and I now can't get their little game music out of my head. Nothing seems to work to make it go away.

New Work asked me to start early by going to the Tribology and Aerospace Applications convention. I got an extra ticket. You get to learn about the amazing advances in aeronautical lubricants, applications, and see on site demonstrations.

Well that's weird. I've never had dreams that continued before, but last night the one I had picked up pretty much where that other one about the zombie apocalypse left off. I got knocked out at the end of the other dream and apparently the two guys I'd been trying to steal from brought me back to their settlement instead of leaving me for the dead to get.

When I woke up, I managed to escape where they'd put me and I ended up deciding they were good people, despite the fact that they kept weapons trained on me, not that I really blame them since I broke into the one guy's house in the middle of the night to tell him that I wanted to help them. In the end I brought some of their group to the place I lived, which was called Hilltop, which was basically one big house, which apparently used to be a history museum and a couple trailers with a wall around it, but we grew our own crops and had livestock and traded with other communities, which they didn't even know existed.

As expected, nothing goes smoothly and shit hits the fan twice, but in the end, Rick's group offered to take care of one of our problems, which would be killing this one guy named Negan who demands half of what we produce. He seems pretty confident that they can do it.

Wow, okay, I'm not sure why I went into so much detail about my dream. I never talk about my dreams. This is weird.

And we come to that time of year again where Employees are asking to take the day off for a Marvel movie instead of, you know, doing their job. The number of last-minute "oh, by the way, can I have this day off" requests is insane.

I've been thinking refitting the Enterprise. I have most of the specs from memory and the replicators can help with the parts, but it would be slow going with just me and putting the replicates into overload. And I think I'd miss all the primary colors.

But the technological advancements could be useful, even if she isn't as far along as the lovely lady in my second set of dreams.

I think I'm finally going to move. I'm looking at a studio and a few small apartments, since it's just me and R7 and there's too many memories in my current one.

Heard some people talking about this place on campus. Figured I'd check it out.

So, I’m pretty sure the local market thinks I’m on some weird diet where I eat nothing but meat since the clerk when I was checking out made sure to remind me that it’s not healthy to try and get your vitamins and all just from meat. Which leads me to wonder - anybody know of a good butcher shop that won’t ask me a bunch of questions about why I’m buying so much every week?

It's Spring Break, sort of. Mostly it's my attending taking holiday before my break so I have the next couple of weeks for just classes so I'm doing some side jobs to get a little more money in the bank. If anyone needs any work done on their car and want a little bit cheaper price than their regular mechanic, let me know.

My dream self seems to be navigating into somewhat... slippery slope territory. She joins an organization to help people, despite its methods; This is not how I would see her save lives. Yet she also has all of the funding she needs to further her research. Nanobiology, a new way to speed healing and recovery times.

I can already see that Overwatch is pushing the limits of how I would allow them to use my science. Only time will tell, but I suspect that I will end up leaving them over our differences.

Here in the real world, I am given the chance to make this technology here. All of my notes on my research showed up in my office today. But I wonder if this is a good idea, this 'nanobiology'. What would become of it in this world, where war is even more common? even if it would save my life--

Sooooooo... Dreams.

Usually, I get the same ones, but they have advanced a bit, and as I thought, I'm up in the sky alone. I lost my bothers in the sea, although it looks like they lived. Now it's just me and I'm not sure how much gas I have, so what do I do? I head my ass into a dogfight to get rid of the enemy so all the boys stuck on the beach can get away in the boats. I haven't seen the entire beach, but I'm staying out at sea. Looks like the ocean and I will meet soon.

I did find this tool set on my coffee table this morning. I have had to make some repairs on planes from time to time. It makes me wonder what I'm going to be doing. Maybe I do get to land after all, but I'm fixing something. I'd be a little happier if they were really useful, but they are from the 1940's and technology isn't quite the same. They also look like they are pretty beat up, but I'm cleaning them.

So... given the news today (not that I'm centering myself in the recent tragedies, but I gotta make rent money) but maybe I should start looking for a new job.

Some time ago, I was gifted by my dreams a beautiful porcelain vase which I had purchased in China for my father, who collected such things. As he has the same inclinations here, I thought that I would send it to him as a surprise gift. It's not every day when one receives such an exquisitely made piece of Chinese porcelain.

Today I received his thank you note in the mail. I suppose a phone call, or even a proper letter, was too much to hope for. It seems as though he was rather pleased with it, which I am glad for. My mother let me know that he has it displayed among the rest of his collection; I hope that I will be able to see for myself sometime soon.

Just when I think I can go back to work, the fucking truck dies.

I've decided that maybe I need a late Valentine's gift to myself. I need a new car, or a truck maybe. What's good out there?

Anyone else staying in for New Years?

I have Ben and Jerry's in my freezer, and absolutely no plans besides eating it and watching about a billion movies. (Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration, but still it'll be a lot.)

The great thing about the holidays is the amount of business I get. I fly charter so this time of year is huge. Families going to see family, and then wait for New Years. Seriously, half my salary comes in these two weeks. I'm looking forward to some time off.

Also, this snow is a pain in my ass. It can go now.

I am so bored right now. I think I might actually die. I'm still wondering if anyone has ever actually died from being bored.

So... The Majestic Sand Beast hasn't gotten bigger. I think. I've had it for a few months now, but I swear it's still the same size as when it arrived.

Anyone know where I can get one of those dog scales they use at vets? It's time for some scientific inquiry.

My dog decided to randomly go after a squirrel today when I took her out for a walk and she got away from me then came across a skunk. Suffice to say, the skunk won and now Fleetfoot is out in the yard while we figure out exactly what the best course of action is now.

I know exactly why I won’t be making the crossover into acting - I enjoy food too much to ever agree to just eat rabbit food. Or pizza with a knife and fork. I’d rather be a healthy weight for my frame than skinny because I practically starved myself. Now that I’ve confessed that - anyone feel up to joining me for dinner tonight? I’m thinking beers, cheeseburgers and onion rings. Or fries. Or maybe both.

Are Millennials feckless? Did I use that word right? I’ve always wanted to use “feckless” in a sentence, but appropriately. If I get it wrong, some octogenarian will probably wave a cane at me.

To all those who have served in the armed forces, or are currently serving in them, I wish you all a good Remembrance Day, or Veteran's Day as it is called here in America. I served in the British Army Special Forces in Afghanistan, and to all of my fellow soldiers and veterans, thank you for your service and sacrifice.
