This family vacation with my daughter and my siblings has been exactly what I needed. I'll be sad too be heading back to the OC in a few days.

Now, I've heard people's houses being egged on Halloween, but I've never seen this before. I woke up this morning to find my lawn covered in Alien eggs. Actual eggs from the movie Alien. I'm trying to figure out if this is Orange County doing its usual thing or if it's something else. Either way, it's incredibly disconcerting.

Getting ready for Halloween a day early and making sure my costume still fits from last year. Happy Hallowen!

I finally grasp the concept everyone been talking about with having dreams.

It's was haunting, dreary, I killed a girl who was my best friend?, just daunting.


I need to center myself, figured after hot yoga tonight, going to offer a free hour meditation class.


Since it's last moment, not taking reservations - anyone is welcome till we are full.

New dreams come with new revelations. Of all the times my family has betrayed me over the centuries this was the worst of all.

I have chosen Mare and I's costume for Halloween. I, am going to be Peter Pan, and Mare is going to be my Tinkerbell. She's going to be cute as a button.

There's all this stuff in this big house, and it has my name on it. Why? It's weird. I got a lot of mail and stuff like bills. I don't have no money or anything. I haven't seen my mom and dad is probably just drunk somewhere. Hope he doesn't know I'm here. Stefan, where are you?

I got a pool. I always wanted one. Anyone want to go swimming?

What is this? And why the fuck is it on my phone?

I want to do something fun for labor day. Nik, Elijah, Finn, Freya, are you in? Maybe a BBQ and swimming? Damon, you in?

I apparently give off an, I have money, vibe or something along those lines. Last night, on my way home, two men tried to mug me. I'll just say that they got more than they'd bargained for. They also won't try mugging anyone again.

I've enrolled Mare in Pre-School and she starts on Monday. I'm definitely not okay.

Planning a wedding is so strange. Like, it's something I never really thought I'd do. Not that I never thought I'd get married, but I guess I always thought I'd be older if I did. Then again, how old is older when you're thinking about this stuff as a kid, ya know?

Before anyone asks, no, we don't have date yet. I know, isn't that usually what people do first? Not in our case apparently. We've mostly just been doing the easier stuff. Talking about the bridal party and possible colors and whether we should do it here or in England, but really nothing is set in stone yet.

It is down to either The Venitian, The Bellagio, or Ceasars Palace for our third club expansion. All three are in prime locations, and now Damon, Enzo and I just need to make the final decision.

Honestly? Klaus left me daggered for over nine hundred years! Why does this not surprise me in the least? Of course I wasn't the only one daggered, but I was daggered the longest. Upon being undaggered, I can assure you that I was not very happy about having nine hundred years stolen from me and as a result, I plan on leaving Klaus along with my other siblings. Of course before we could do that, we got quite the shock.

It's a good thing I have the dagger, that I received, hidden so that hopefully that'll never happen in the waking world.

I'm happy to announce that Fangtasia should be opening at the end of July. When I first moved here I had hoped that our new club would be open by now, but I hadn't expected it to take so long to find the perfect location. And yes, for anyone who saw the post about my dreams, I decided to use the name of my bar in my dreams for this one as well. I thought it sounded interesting.

Got the best news ever today. You're looking at the new offensive coach for UCI's football team for next season. It sure as hell beats personal training. Guess I should thank Caroline for making me go out and do it.

And takes some of the sting out of these new dreams I've been having. I really, really don't like this Tyler Smallwood guy.

A preview for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was on the TV today and Mare started laughing at the dinosaurs on the screen and making grabby hands. No sweetie, daddy cannot get you a dinosaur.

I bought Mare a kiddy pool. She likes sitting in their and splashing water. Nik, Finn, Freya, you'll have to come over for a visit and spend some time with your favorite niece.

I’ve been starting to think that I may need a career change. I Iove working at Disneyland, but I’m beginning to think that I won’t be able to do it forever. I mean, literally, I won’t be able to do it forever cause people will start to notice I’m not aging. I’ve probably already stayed longer than I should have, but I’ve been having fun. I’m just not sure what I want to do. It makes me wonder exactly what dream Lexi did in all her years to aquire money. I mean, aside from being a nurse in the war. Then again, compulsion comes in very handy at times and I’ll fully admit that most of my shoes were aquired using compulsion. I so couldn’t afford some of them on Disney money alone after all. So, I guess it’s time to sit down and start figuring out what I want to do.

Not only did I finally sign the lease for a building for the club, but I also had another dream.

I had suspected that someone was stealing from me, at Fangtasia, so I summoned another vampire that I knew whose girlfriend was telepathic and I wanted her to help me figure out who the culprit was. It turned out that it was our bartender, Longshadow, and he'd glamoured one of our waitresses to keep quiet. Longfellow tried to kill Sookie, which didn't sit well with Bill so he staked him, which was extremely stupid because now, according to our laws, he'll have to pay for in some way.

I won't lie, I'm curious to see what will happen to Bill for his indiscretion.

What is everyone doing for Memorial Day next Monday?

Father called me today to ask me what time I’ll be over on Sunday for mother’s da, I’m not sure he expected me to laugh for a good two minutes before hanging up. No, Mare and I will visit Mary Alice’s grave instead.

I'm well aware of what can cross over from dreams, both in the form of items and powers.

But babies, has anyone heard of those crossing over?

A bar proprietor convention in New York in mid-May. I'm signing up for that. Five days in the city. I've been there a few times since, but only for a couple nights. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

It would appear that I've fallen in love in my dreams. I met a woman named Sage in the 12th Century and would sneak out to see her since some of my siblings did not approve of her social class. Status has definitely gone to their heads in the last hundred years. So, despite the fact that I dislike what I am, Sage and I want to be together forever so I've decided to turn her.

I don't know if I'd ever actually want to do something like that, in the waking world. Being a vampire is nothing like the movies and tv shows make it out to be.

Mare is sick with a viral infection. As a single father, it's the worst pain in the world to have my baby upset and sick and not be able to do anything about it other than give her the medication.

There are those days that you just wake up and need to do something, good or bad, to keep yourself from going crazy. What is that thing to do - especially after another round of reruns starring yourself as a prisoner and science experiment? No wonder I'm in that kind of mood.

Well, the official opening of Pimpernel Outreach with the benefit dinner and silent auction was a success. Even if my parents tried to use it as an attempt to rehabilitate their image and garner good PR. As if I wouldn't call them on their naked hypocrisy on showing up. Though if it was calling them out on that where reporters could hear, or that I was there with a woman and bringing 'shame' or whatever to the family name that made them go rigid and clearly uncomfortable, who knows.

I'm sure I'll hear about both away from the glare of the spotlight but it was worth it to call them out to their face and refuse to be their pawn in an obvious attempt at good PR to wash away weeks of horrible statements.

Now that the world is no longer ending I have decided to announce Soliel et Lune Galerie will be opening Saturday, February 17th. Champagne and canapés will be served. And of course, numerous styles of artwork including - Renaissance Art, Impressionism, Expressionism, Surrealism, Abstract Art, and Contemporary Art.

Mare took her first steps today! I need to extra baby proof this house now! Finn, Freya, Nik? Want to come help your favorite baby brother and even more favorite niece?

I am so glad that after this Fifty Shades movie it'll be over. I'm so tired of seeing the trailers for the new one. I saw about fifteen minutes of the first one while flipping channels one night and the acting was so awful and judging from the trailers for the new one, the acting hasn't gotten any better.

You people really like to talk about dreams don't you.

I took Mare to see Santa today, and to finish my Christmas shopping, because you know me and procrastinating. She seemed to like the jolly fat man.

Oh my god! Are people seriously complaining about the Starbucks cups? What even makes them think that the hands are supposed to belong to lesbians? They're drawings of hands. There's nothing on them to specify a gender. People are seriously ridiculous. They will find any reason to complain about Starbucks' holiday cups.

Halloween has been a blast. Thank you for being the Wendy to my Peter Pan, Davina. And for getting Mare the Tinkerbell costume for her very first Halloween.

I am dressing up Mare as a black cat for Halloween. Aunties, Uncles, she expects lots of candy.

Well, I put some Halloween decorations up, bought the candy, but the dreams have kind of deterred me from dressing up. Especially as a nurse.

I suppose I can't deny that I've begun having these dreams that everyone else talks about. Mine appear to take place about a thousand years ago and oddly enough, we live near a pack of werewolves. This seems completely normal to my father apparently. I'm not entirely sure why.

So it seems we're back to normal? It makes me wonder what weirdness we're going to see next. Not that I'm asking for it.

Thanks for letting me hang out with you two through the OC madness.

My brother, Niklaus, mentioned this place some time ago and now that I'm completely settled, I decided to take a look. I've never been one for message boards, but I suppose since I've been away for so long, it might be a good idea to join some sort of local internet group to find out more about the things that have changed.

I think I've hit the end. I haven't had a dream for awhile, and then there they are, back again, and it's reached an end. All those things that we've done have come around full circle. I'm not going to spoil it here for a few of you, but what a ride.

Preparing to move would be a lot easier if random belongings weren't showing up in my room.

Mare is just now fully discovering Hades, my black lab. She's always been aware of my black cat, Ares, who constantly tries to groom her, but today she was laying on the floor having tummy time, and Hades came over to lay with her. She seemed rather content with him, and he was patient with her.

Nik, can I commission a few new pieces of art for her nursey? I like the few things you painted for her before she was born and would like a few more pieces.

My sister mentioned this network to me. Allegedly it’s a good place for recommendations in the area, but it just seems like a lot of dream sharing to me. Who cares this much about their dreams?

I am not looking for recommendations as much as opinions. How do you feel about art? Do you have a favorite artist or style? Do any of you create your own pieces?

So help a girl out who's been gone for the past 14 years, any yoga studio suggestions? Or suggestions in general I guess but right now I'm more focused on finding a yoga studio.

I think it's time to start considering daycare for Mareena during the day. There are things I need to do with the club in the moring hours before we open at night, plus helping her learn to socialize with other children--well---babies--can't be the worst thing int he world.

Do any parents have recommendations?

I think I would have to move if I came home and their was a giant spider on my door.
