I had the weirdest dream last night. It was my first day of school, but I was in high school. Ugh. Who would want to live that over again?

Plus, I'm a very awkward high schooler. What is my subconscious trying to tell me??

Ran into someone this past weekend who told me about this site.

Fae can eat my ass.

I get attacked by this big giant wolf thing so I kill it. The pelt was huge so I skin it and sell it to this hot mercenary woman.

But that night another big animal bursts into my shitty house, only he's some big Fae High Lord or something, because the big wolf turned out to be another Fae. And it was go back with him across the Wall or stay there and get slaughtered in front of my family. A life for a life. So I chose to go.

When we got there, his... second in command I guess? Was a lot nicer. Still an asshole so that's not much of an improvement. They all wore masks too. Some kind of enchantment or curse. I expected like a... cell, but I was given a gilded cage really nice room with the most amazing bed I've ever seen.

No one tells me anything, but there's this fairy. Some kind of evil flesh eating creature that if you trap it will tell you whatever you want to know. So I went out and trapped it. It wasn't too helpful but it did let me in on a few secrets. Such as Tamlin being the High Lord of the Spring Court.

Tamlin was pissed, but he'd made sure my family was safe, so I'll give him points for that. And he was teaching me to read, and he gave me paint. So much paint...I'm getting vaguely Beauty and the Beast vibes and he's pretty hot when he's not in a monster form.

They have this Spring Festival, too. I wasn't allowed to go so I went anyway, and nearly got dragged off by three evil Fae from another Court, only for the... most beautiful man I've ever seen to come to my rescue.

You guessed it. Also an asshole.

And that's when I woke up.

Fuck the Fae.

So. Question. Where the fuck am I supposed to keep a pegasus in this place? Because I totally woke up to my pegasus nosing me this morning. At least she's not dead

In case I was thinking my dreams couldn’t get any weirder, ghosts appeared and started chasing me. I don’t know if Cynthia sees them. If she does, she hasn’t said anything. Though, when I found her stuck in one of the subway cars she seemed pretty freaked out, so maybe she does and just doesn’t want to say anything.

It wouldn’t be so bad, I guess, if it wasn’t for the fact that the ghosts like to stick their hands into my back or chest and…I don’t know what exactly…steal my energy or soul or something. All I know is that I get really dizzy, woozy and tired when it happens.

I see them when I'm awake too.

It is deathly hot outside, but my Growlithe loves it. He always runs a higher temperature, so he isn't even panting in it. Must be nice. He also has a natural aversion to water. I thought most dogs loved it, but he doesn't. I know that's the fire in him.

On another topic, I'm thinking of dying my hair. I don't know why really other than just to change things up. Should I go blue like the guy in my dreams?

This is getting ridiculous. I was in the library, studying when my roommate texted me to tell me that someone gratified all the apartment doors on our floor. This totally isn't cool. How someone did this without anyone seeing them, I have no idea.

I really wish I'd just gotten stupidly drunk on New Years and woke up hungover instead of what really happened.

A new year apparently means new dreams. I'm honestly not sure which part was worse; my father embarrassing me in front of Scott of being attacked by a coyote. Although, I think the coyote part wins since it happened in school. How it got into the school, in the middle of the day, I have no idea. I can only imagine what's going to happen in my next dreams.

On a better note, I had a really good time with Stiles at his work party last night. A lot more fun than I was expecting. I'm usually kind of awkward around a lot of people I don't know, but I wasn't even thinking about that last night. It was nice, for a change.

My roommate is having a party tomorrow night, but I'm not really friends with her friends, so I think I might go home for the next couple of days. I feel kind of lame, not having anything to do tomorrow night, which means I'll probably just be hanging out with my parents or watching movies till midnight.

[Any characters with extra-sensitive hearing and/or are in Pitzer College Campus right now, there was a horribly loud banshee scream.]

Where is Cora? I'm not getting any response from her phone and I have this horrible feeling, like I just know something is wrong. Anyone at UCI? Can you tell me anything? Please.

Observations instead of studying.

1. The quarter system is annoying because of the small break since it means there's no time to go on a project until the summer.

2. Snow means there are less people on the running trails.

3. Read a word enough times in a single sitting, and it suddenly becomes foreign. Case in point: Machiavelli's The Prince.

I'm actually looking forward to Thanksgiving. A couple of days off will be nice. Not really sure what I'm going to do, but I might try to do some shopping. Not on Black Friday, but on the weekend. I'm not crazy enough to try and brave those crowds on Friday.

So, since I'm the embarrassing boyfriend, I'm posting a Happy Birthday post to my bae where all his friends and family can see it.

I normally don't do this sort of thing, but my parents told me I should go out tomorrow night. So, is anyone having a party or something and wouldn't mind someone they don't even know coming? This is so awkward.

Since Stiles hasn't convinced me to dress up for Halloween (and to answer any other requests preemptively -- no, I'm not going to, end of story), he's compromised by getting a costume for my dog.

Weirdly enough, Thor seems to like it.

I thought, hey, I've been dreaming nightmarish imagery for months. I can totally handle Knott's Scary Farm.

Wrong. So wrong.

Luckily I brought a big, strong, werewolf to protect me. Oddly, enough, that actually made me feel safer. Dream memory, I guess.

Anyway, if you haven't had the chance to go, I highly recommend it. Definitely worth the money. And make sure to hit the Chicken Dinner restaurant on the way out. Derek had to practically roll me out to the Camaro, but it was so, so worth it.

I still can't quite get over just how big Halloween is here. I mean there's stuff in so many shops. It's absolutely crazy.

I'm kind of excited to be going to a Halloween sleepover with friends though, even if I do hide when the scary films are on ;)
