Still stuck at the hospital. Inhaler wasn't working properly enough. Because my life wasn't uncomfortable enough, they said I'd got to see how things work out with an oxygen mask for a while.

Parents are not too subtle are they or is it just my maman? She has no skills at beating around the bush and instead chooses to just blurt out whatever it is she is thinking appropriate or not. Makes me happy people cannot hear the other side of my phone conversations most of the time or I would be constantly explaining or blushing or both.

Borrowed a computer to post about the strange ass dream I had. Must be fever induced. I'm such a douchebag in my dreams, I just I feel strange about it, this crap just keeps piling up. I'm not a terrible person, am I?

I didn't really know Cedric before he died, but... well, it's always a bitch when people die, right? I felt so uber guilty. I dunno, as horrible a person as I am in those stupid dreams, sometimes I have moments of humanity. Anyway, I don't like it. Didn't have a good time.

It was nice to go to sleep and dream of a time after the war for once. I am sure there will be more of those dreams but it was a nice change. I got the impression it was one of the first times Bill and I really got to enjoy the fact that we were married. I got to be Fleur Weasley instead of Fleur the Order member and fighter. I have to admit the first has a great sound to it but I think that has more to do with the amazing man that decided to give me his name. My biggest worry was how to tell Bill about the baby. It was completely unexpected but I don't think an unwelcomed surprise.

It was a nice little dream especially considering what is going on here in the real world. I just wish I could do more than help care for those that are sick and comfort those that are struggling. I am lucky I am not sick and even more lucky Bill is not sick. I would have been besides myself. This once the dreams were a good thing.

He's gone. Luis is gone. They said he had an asthma attack and asphyxiated. The blue virus combined with the asthma... he was just too weak. He died this morning around five. His parents were with him.

I can't stop crying. The kids are having breakfast, and I have to be strong for them.

AUUUUUGHHHH. I cannot stand laying in the hospital anymore! SO BORED. BOREDDD.

There is nothing worse than missing work.

I don't feel good. Not in the I caught what everyone else has way but thanks to my therapist tying me into knots yesterday. Anyhow, its a good day to stay in bed and watch a movie, so what is the best American movie and why? It will help me decide what to watch.

I'm staying with my father until this all boils over. My sorority house is full of the plague. Thankfully my father's place seems unaffected. Probably because he's a bit of a hermit.

They're taking my nephew Luis to the hospital. I'm going to go see him in the morning.

I cannot be the only one to notice that sometimes things about ourselves tend to "bleed through" from our dreams. Things about our physical appearance even. I can tell when I look in the mirror now. Those familiar with my dream world might wonder how having certain Veela traits is a bad thing, sure it can make you feel good about yourself and beautiful, but it really just makes me feel self conscious most of the time. Even in the magical dream world a lot of things are a double-edged sword.

I've noticed that a lot of the names on this network are filtering into my dreams. Sirius Black and Remus Lupin are new additions to my dreamspace. Sorry if that makes you feel awkward.

Of course, a lot of my day-to-day friends are a part of my dreams, too. Harry, Ron, Ginny... even Fred and George make appearances. I'm learning a lot, though. Soon I'll be able to do all sorts of magic

Seems people are already letting off fireworks in the streets in anticipation of the celebrations both later tonight and all week leading up to Epiphany. I always did have a weakness for displays of fireworks.

What I really wanted, was to wish my friends and everyone else a bonne année et bonne santé!

Two weeks and two days to my birthday! The girls at the sorority house are taking me out for a night of drinking. I'm a bit nervous! But I know it's going to be a lot of fun.

My family has a big party planned, too, the weekend before my birthday. I'm going to be celebrating all month, I bet!

How are some people never bothered by jet lag? There has to be a tip that actually works. My body and sleep schedule is always off for days when I travel. Not to mention it is supposed to rain nearly the entire trip. Hopefully it lets up a little New Year's Eve, long enough to let off the fireworks.

Seems I missed out on the whole wishing on a star thing but that is okay. I hope everyone got what they wanted. As for me, I already have everything I could ever think to wish for this Christmas. I even got my cast off this morning so I can walk a little bit again. I hope everyone enjoys their holidays. Even though it is premature your New Years too since I will be leaving in a couple days for Paris.

Since it is Christmas, who wants me to bring them back something from Paris when I go? Long as it is reasonable I will do it and we can consider it a late Christmas present.

Today I went for a light jog. Only made it round the track once but that quarter mile was the most thrilling minute and a half I have spent since last December. I cannae express how elated I am with my Christmas miracle.

I've missed football...

I'm typically a rather long winded bloke and I have a bad habit of rambling on when something peaks my interest. My mother calls it passion, Da calls it attention grabbing. In any case, now that my shoulder is... fine... healed... perfect.... I'm flabbergasted. I never knew having a dream come true could be so powerful and uplifting. I am nae used to good things happening in my life, and the change is inspiring.

I'm going to play football again. I'm going to be me again.

I'm going home.

It occurs to me that this sudden climate shift is possible proof that the world really DOES end tomorrow. What Time Zone is that scheduled to start happening during, again? Because damn, I've got some stocking up to do. The internet informs me tampons are great for more than just women, but to jam into all sorts of wounds, and that I should be picking up toilet paper to sell at a premium.

So, I bought fridge cookie dough and eggnog. If it comes down, you're all fully welcome to swing by my place, where I will be barricaded underneath the table with this treasure trove that I'm sure you all are dying to share in.

Somewhere along the way, I'm also running a trial gravy experiment, and attempting to wrap a bathrobe, scarf, and other hard to handle gifts. Pray for me. I may never return. Of course, provided we die tonight, this is all moot anyway, but I'm hoping I'll be one of the survivors ready to rebuild the human race to all its former glory.

What do you think? Is asking women if they want to repopulate the earth coming on a LITTLE strong in that time of great need? I wouldn't use it otherwise.

So I've been so busy I've only just properly realized how close to Christmas we are. The impromptu snow is helping with that.

But the project I've been so busy with is now complete so if you're interested be sure to check out 'Fashion!' (ooc - a fashion magazine like Vogue) I have four pages of my own designs in there! I am beyond excited, it's due out in January so keep an eye out!

I can't believe it! Does everyone remember all of those shooting stars in the sky from last week? I was convinced that they were meteors full of little fuzzy aliens again headed to Earth, but I had the type of star all wrong. They were wishing stars! Luckily I made a wish on the off chance that I was wrong about the aliens, but it paid off. You're reading the words of Tony Stark's new personal intern! I even get to watch the Hulk's dog for him! Best day ever!

It is snowing! Our dog is also afraid of it or something. He went outside, stopped, looked confused, then started barking at the snow and when it kept snowing he went to sit by the door. I am enjoying this far more than he is. It reminds me of the many times we went dancing in the show in Russia.

I have to say my favorite part of Christmas in the States is the sapin de Noël or Christmas tree. It is not something that is common in France. It makes me want a big tree! Then I can decorate it and say that I have had one.

Ma Maman also sent me my sabots to put out. Sabots are wooden shoes children leave out in France on Christmas Eve and they get presents in them. It is kind of like American stockings. My sabots was carved by mon grand-papa for ma grand-mère for their first Christmas together. I have a pair for Bill too but I will have to put them up so the dog does not chew them since they are very old.

Two days until freedom from Finals.

I always tend to forget how quickly time passes between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'm running out of time to get all the holiday shopping done-- I suppose I had better work on that.

Although I do kind of hate shopping -- it's just too late to order things online and get them in time.

I hate hospitals. Can't wait to go home.

7½ inches. That is how much I cut off my hair. I have been considering it for a while and sometimes change is good. There is also only 14 days left until the cast comes off.

This does not even warrant commenting on. Most people will likely fall into two groups: they will know the truth or they will believe I am in denial or covering for him. But, for the record, I love him and he treats me right.

It would seem the wedding in my dreams was far from the wedding of my dreams. I know it was a dream but I was so incredibly disappointed and sad, perhaps a little angry. You spend so much time planning and wanting to pick the perfect dress so the moment can be special and to have it interrupted so magnificently by dark wizards... I mean I was relieved no one was captured injured but I should have spent my wedding night with friends and family and my new husband, not being interrogated until the early morning hours.

It is intriguing to wake up and find my wand a piece of that world here. It does make things a little better.

I have had the best couple of weeks of my life. I think my girlfriend is a good luck charm.

I was the cat lady again. The polyjuice potion backfired, aand I had to spend time in the hospital wing to have the fur removed. Not the best way to spend the Christmas Holidays.

I've never really understood the appeal of larger than life Valentine's day greetings. There were Dwarves in my dream dressed as Cupids. Bizarre, right?

Crivens, am I thankful to be going home at the end of this week. Home. With my large satellite television, speedy internet and a nursing stripper bestie. Because in case anyone was confused on the matter, hospitals are rubbish! They donnae even get good football coverage (that's soccer, for you Americans).

Celtic played today at Tynecastle and I heard that it was a brilliant match. I heard, because the bloody sodding fucking piece of arse telly here at the hospital donnae air the bleeding matches! Oh! says the slutty intern as she leans too bloody close again, Watch it on the Internet, she says. Here's a public service announcement to all the slutty lasses who may or may not be reading: if you are going to waist your time (and mine) throwing yourself at a bloke, at least have the common courtesy to brush your fucking teeth before you hover all close and pucker your fatty Botox lips. Possibly the least attractive thing I have ever encountered. Ever.

Aside from that, guess what Halitosis Haley! I cannae watch the match on the Internet because of fucking zoning restrictions! What is WRONG with this country? I will PAY YOU MONEY to watch the match. Good, honest, solid, reliable sterling. And what do I get?

My shopping is all done. Really. I have Bill's birthday present and all my Christmas presents purchased. Online shopping is fantastic in that sense. It is nice to be done with the holiday stuff already.

Anyone here give music or vocal lessons? Ma mére suggested I find something new to channel my energy into until my cast comes off and I can begin my physical therapy. I think vocal lessons would be the way to go since I have not played the piano in a few years. Then again I have not sang in a while either. Outside Portia, the only one here to hear me sing is my dog and he always just gives me an odd look when I do. I do have a couple videos if I need to prove any capability before I can take a few lessons.

More dreams last night. Filch is a squib, I know how to produce bluebell flames, Harry had his bones regrown overnight, Lockhart is a bit thick, and the plan to use Polyjuice potion... I know how that ends already. I'm glad the dream stopped when it did, I don't much fancy becoming a cat-girl again.

I dreamed about classes at Hogwarts last night. Flitwick, McGonagall, Snape, Trelawney, Hooch... I learned to fly on a broomstick, to levitate things and to make potions.

Then when I woke up this morning, I found my wand in my coat pocket.

This is getting WEIRD.

I figured out who Gilderoy Lockhart is. He's a dreamboat And I learned how to deal with Cornish Pixies and Mandrakes.
