My daughter is getting a puppy. My dad's supervisor at the hospital's dog had a litter of puppies. My dad took Nessie over to see how she'd interact with the puppy. Cuteness ensued and thus we will be adopting the little critter be be Nessie's best friend.

I'm excited to take Nessie Trick R' Treating. And then soon she'll have her first Thanksgiving and her first Christmas. I feel so overwhelmed. This time last year I was preparing to be a new father and now my little girl is celebrating so many firsts in her life.

I think I'll take her and Bella to the Pumpkin Patch this weekend and pick out a pumpkin for us to carve as a family.

Is it November yet?

You know...I miss the days when the night shift was nice and quiet. Some idiots are having Halloween too early for my liking. I had three drunk frat boys come in bloody and banged up because they tried to FLY like Superman. The culprit? One too many candy corn cocktails.

Worst part about working in a hospital is the exposure to all the germs. I think I'm running a fever. I'm too weak to get out of bed to check.

Alright Cullens, I've purchased tickets for ALL of us to go to the Disneyland Halloween party this Saturday. Nessie will be wearing Sleeping Beauty. Costumes are allowed in the park, so dress up as something fun. I want to make Nessie's first Halloween special.

For those of you who have gone before--how crowded does it get? Being Disney I'm assuming it's not scary, right? I don't want to traumatize my daughter.

I'm so excited for Nessie's first Halloween. I got her a little Disney Princess costume from Target. She's going to look so cute.

Who said taco nights were expressly meant for Tuesdays? Taco Thursday is just as catchy.

The summer has been enjoyable, but I'm ready to start helping my dad at the hospital again. I'm ready for early morning classes, spending time with the wife and daughter, a few hours of sleep and late night shifts. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

Mom, Alice? This will require coffee, lots of coffee.

Nessie tried solid foods for the first time today. I don't think she liked them. Then again, who WOULD like something as disgusting as mashed carrots?

So I see people, not changed people with unnatural body parts, and you know what that means. The Magic Mountain trip is calling.

Nat is sick and I just get into that protective daddy mode. I wonder if I'll still be like this when she's a teenager...

Only two more classes and my summer class is over. I can't wait for a two and a half week vacation. I took one week off work too.

Oh, man, working on this website has been such a thrill! Even if I'm up at insanely odd hours. Have to get as much time in on it as I can while the inspiration sticks. <3 Loving my job, though!

I'm getting married in two days. Is it normal for a guy to be this nervous?

Another late night with Nessie, so I watched the last two Harry Potter movies--and after all that, she STILL wasn't asleep. It's going to be a long night. Poor little thing, Bella and I are going to have to take her to the doctors tomorrow.

Nessie is going through a phase of sleep regression. She was sleeping a full 6-7 hours before, but for the last few nights she's been sleeping two or three before waking up crying.

My back and shoulders and chest are so sunburnt, it's not even funny. In all the excitement of yesterday at Stefan and Rebekah's BBQ, I forgot to put on sunscreen. I am so red. I don't think I've ever been this burnt. I need to go get some Aloe. Or ask Huck to get some for me. I'm just glad I'm not working today. Sunburnt Aurora or Rapunzel are not what the kids want to see. I think I'm gonna go take a cold shower now. If I don't spontaneously combust first.

I'm going to go with I did great today. Only had to make one trip back to the house because I forgot the diaper bag. At least I didn't forget the baby. It was a nice day. I wish we stayed out late enough to see the fireworks. I did get to see them on the ride home though. It was almost the same to watch them on TV.

Poor Nessie has a fever. I took her to the doctors to get some medication and vaccines, but she is a miserable little princess right now.

Uhhh... Not sure I'm digging this Zombie thing. I haven't seen any yet, but I don't like the way people are talking about them. Unless it's some inside joke that I don't get?

And apparently we're not like breakfast today.

It wouldn't be that bad if half of what I tried to give her didn't end up on my shirt. Now to my list of chores today I can add doing laundry and mopping in the kitchen. As well as an early bath for yours truly. If only she could have told me before I made it for her.

All this before I had my coffee.

My mother says I need to get a job over the summer. Who's hiring? Where is it good to work? Any suggestions? Figure I might as well ask here before I start job hunting.

I do believe my children may regret letting me onto the internet when I start gushing about how wonderful they are and how proud I am of them all but I think they know me well enough by now. Besides I am sure it is the role of a parent to embarrass their children. At least that is what I am sticking to.

So, apparently this is the place where all the cool kids hang out?

Nessie gave me the best Fathers Day present I could ask for. She slept all the way through the night. First time I've gotten eight hours of sleep in a long while.

A few of my fathers co-workers at were were speaking of this, so I figured I'd come on and introduce myself. Some of you may know me, and others may not. In any case, I'm Edward Cullen. It's nice to meet all of you.
