Its my birthday, but before I raid the booze I'm getting myself a little something nice.

So I helped my dream boyfriend kidnap his baby and leave the country.

There may not be any magic in Neptune, but that town is far from normal.

I must say this place is certainly different than anywhere else I've been. As my introduction has been rather quiet, I'll attempt a second with a question:

What is the best place to eat around here?

Menu's all set for Friday.

I went through about six revisions. Tonight. Because i'm indecisive. Argued with myself for a good two hours. and here I thought I was doing good. Oh well. Menu's finally set. Cooking will start bright and early.

When I throw a feast, I throw a feast to remember. Or something.

Back to spending my free time at the Cafe. Decided that whenever this feast will be, will NOT be on Saint Patrick's Day. because I don't want to crush two awesome things together.

But I? Am so making these.

There's an envelope with your name on it in the kitchen - I've split how the funds from the cafe come in ,one goes to "PAY THESE BILLS" fund, one goes to "HOUSE", there's a card in there that accesses the House bank account. Use it for whatever we need at the house. I know I'm kind of withdrawn and hiding but yeah, I thought this was a good idea too. I already prepaid for the jacuzzi, though, so you don't need to worry about that. :)

Does anyone ever wonder what happens after they stop dreaming? Does my crew find me before I stop breathing? Do I get my little blue babies? How does the galaxy recover from a hundred billion dead and civilization nearly collapsing? Did I do the right thing in how I ended that war? Was it worth the people I lost? How many more millions of people would have lived if I'd been faster?

It keeps me up at night.

Up to my eyeballs in potential party food ideas. If anyone knows me you KNOW I cook a ton to test first. So if anyone wants to pop by to taste test, feel free to drop by Taste of Home! I'll be cooking like a crazy person.

Have people died in your dreams?

I'm really looking forward to starting my internship this semester. It's going to be great to finally be able to combine the two things I love: psychology and music. (And yea, Stiles, some of those psychology are really crazy, I agree.)

And with that, I just wanted to remind everyone that we do open mics on Wednesdays. We always love to have new people join us.

All this crime is getting ridiculous. I should have stayed on the East Coast.

If anyone wants baked goods I've out baked myself at the Cafe, there's cupcakes, brownies, pies, breads, plus food of all kinds. I don't even care if I sell it, I just need to make space to bake more.

Baking: a better stress reliever than drinking one's self blind - except for the sugar coma. But the place smells divine, might open the door a bit and waft the scent onto the streets, come and get it folks!

Cafe's in good hands tonight, so if you stop by and I'm not there, my apologies. I need... a night drink myself into oblivion.

And here I sold or donated so much of my cold weather stuff before I moved cross country.

Everything else is packed up. We're moving this weekend. Carp. I guess I'll just pull out an emergency blanket or two.

Of course, the day I pick to actually move, there's snow. I'm not sure what you're doing, California, but I'm pretty sure this isn't right. At least it's not Noveria weather.

Dreams have me back on the Normandy for a third time. I might as well move in. Shepard, what's with that whole...scanning room? I get the mechanism being brought in since the Collector's attacked the ship, but couldn't the Alliance come up with something faster? I've had quicker elevator rides on the Citadel.

This entire posts consists of complaining. I've finally assimilated into the internet culture.

It seems I have a never ending wealth of dreams. I'm glad it's not something new again, but rather a continuation of sorts from my latest set. Well. It's twenty years later, but it's a continuation. I can't say I'm very surprised at the man my dream self grew to be. They call me Monsieur l'abbé d'Herblay and I'm a frondeur and I seem to be as vain as ever. Regrettably, we four friends seem to be on opposing sides. And Athos and I get to travel suddenly to England to try and help King Charles I. (My dream self is very wary of the English.)

Apart from that, I hope everyone had a good day yesterday. I've suddenly realized I have a lot to be thankful for. I take many things for granted and don't often stop to express my gratitude. It's probably time to start growing up a bit, yes?

The Reaper Task Force. Dumbest division name in existence. At least it shut me up and I managed to reconnect with my father, among other things, despite the whole 'planet is getting plowed relentlessly by giant alien cuddle fishes.'

Oh. Yeah. Dream talk, should anyone somehow wonder if our planet is actually under attack by an alien cuddle fish. The answer is obviously no.

Also, look at this interesting movie trailer about Cinderella. Fascinating. She's gonna kill me. Worth it.

I wanted to thank everyone who came to the Opening! Taste of Home will be open Sunday through Thursday 8am to 9pm, Friday and Saturday 8am to 11pm. We'll be closed on Thanksgiving, but other than that, feel free to come by. I'll probably be there most days and nights for awhile.

Every gal in the store wants to try them on but I'm kind of hesitant because if they crack the glass and get shards in their feet that would just mean blood and awkward things. They're definitely special shoes.

I've seen the plastic ones people wear for weddings though. Probably a better option in the long run.

I really don't know what to do about Halloween. I had a dream last night about Halloween things, but in my Dream World it's called "Nightmare Night" not Halloween. All the Pony stuff is different. But the candy's just as good!

My phone has no storage space left, so I'm working on uploading all my photos to my laptop and I came across these gems from the San Francisco trip over Easter. I figured, what with it being Throw Back Thursday and all, I'd put up my offering.

So I'm working on a project that will require some interior design touches. I? can paint. And make my room look homey, but I am not exactly great at it for something more commercial. I have three pies in the oven, and one helluva treat for one Lina Inverse: Bacon Wrapped Roaster Chicken for dinner tonight. Yes, I went there. And it smells gooooooood. Neena, darling, you have a new shipment of boozy chocolates coming. Tried something new!

I have a good evening planned tonight, had a couple nice drinks last night with a friend, caught up and experienced the fun of the looks of the Home Depot folk: "Why exactly do you need a stack of drywall boards, cement boards and duct tape by the bucket again?" yeah. Silly Home Depot, don't ask those questions.

Okay guys, enough letting me eat ice cream until I burst. I'm gaining like fifteen pounds from all this ice cream. I can't afford to gain fifteen pounds. Like, seriously, stop letting me eat like I'm some depressed high schooler. even though I broke my own heart. Hide all the ice cream! HIDE IT.

Now who's going to come get me to get off my ass and lose said ice cream pounds? Lets turn that into muscle!

So, I won at Mario Kart. It's kind of nice having a house full of people to play games with. Our anniversary celebrations will have to wait, as Kev and I don't really want to celebrate with Musketeers filling the living room. And Peter, too, who is a sweetheart but not a Musketeer.

I'm just glad the boys were kind enough to let me win at Mario Kart. It meant a lot.

And Cindy, I'm terribly sorry that Aramis has been following me to work. But I've personally witnessed him single-handedly upselling multiple pairs of shoes to multiple customers. He's better at this sales thing than ... anyone I've ever seen.

I'll be glad when this is over and I've got the place to myself again, but it's actually been very fun.

I'm looking for part time work. Does anyone have any leads?

Okay. So I'm pretty sure I just had The Dreams. It's pretty much the only explanation I have for the messed up shit that just went down while I slept.

So, like, I ended up joining NASA? (As if I'd ever have the actual patience to do that.) And I threw a fit when they didn't give me this fancy Space Cop job so I ended up stealing a ship and the title that went along with it, which, fun fact, was Star-Lord. Which is both freaky and awesome. So I took on this dude called The Fallen One or something like that and ended up killing several hundred thousand members of this race called ... Kree? Kree. I think it's Kree. And I went to jail. I mean, rightfully so. It was like genocide for a good cause but even I can't feel cool about that.

Then some big bro named Thanos came along and shit hit the fan and I got busted out of jail to help fight this big battle but my man pain was strong.

Pretty awesome dreams, eh? Eh?

Oh, good, my pumpkin carriage is officially here. I was wondering how long it'd take after my Cinderella dreams started to get to the point when I'd wake up, go to the driveway, and see it sitting there. Not a lot of space in my garage for it but I'll make it work.

I believe I owe someone a spin in it, but I kind of want to get it all tricked out. So it doesn't require horses to pull it. I guess it'd be good for weddings and the like too? Yeah. If you're getting married and want a cute getaway vehicle, see me. I can cover your fairytale pumpkin carriage needs.

After these last round of dreams, I'm pretty sure I've practically become the alien Batman of the Galaxy.

Oh, except for the part where I create a band of misfits to do some clean up on a dirty floating rock in space, and they all get killed due to my carelessness.

This is why I shouldn't be in charge of anything. I need some good bourbon.

After some interesting and unexpected reactions apparently brought about by my share of the Orange County Dream Phenomena, I have been attempting to construct footwear that actually works for my feet. It's more challenging than I expected, and I have gained an increased respect for makers of custom footwear and other do-it-yourself modifiers of footwear and clothing.

Rest in peace, Richard Attenborough. I'll be watching Jurassic Park tonight in your honor.

Well, hey there, Valarnet. I'm Cindy and I'm new to this corner of cyberspace. I own a store called Shoegasm here in the OC and the name pretty much speaks for itself, doesn't it?

Only some can effectively pull off lace-up booties, though Taylor Swift seems to have started a trend. Texture is huge for this fall season, along with jewel tones and suede. But enough about shoes, as much as I love them. I also enjoy extreme sports, spicy Thai food, and crushing skulls cuddly bunnies.

Oh, and if anyone's looking for gainful employment and you're interested in the fashion industry, I've got positions available. Retail, yeah, but also things like accounting and art designy stuff, for the store's website and all, since I'm so not good at that sort of thing. But interviews can be basically walk-in, I'm at the store a lot anyway.
