One of the things I really wanted to do with my sudden downtime was, to totally give back to society, so I've spent the last few days with Mary's Kitchen in a very unsexy hairnet.

I had no idea so many people needed help with food and somewhere to live.

I'm also looking for a new yoga studio to go to for the start of the new year, anyone have any suggestions?

We didn't think how much we would miss around the OC with the holidays and stuff when we decided to spend some more time in LA after the MCR concert. But Orange County is always going to do weird Orange County things, so did we really miss that much considering? We're back home, and Cesare is acting like he doesn't know who we are or why we think we're allowed in his space and Ziggy is acting like the week and a half we were gone lasted years and won't leave my side. Clearly they have very different reactions to missing their dads.

I'm not used to snow and my first week here we get over 60cm of snow, I don't even have a jacket and my new flat's heating is terrible and I'm second guessing my decision to move.

But I'm here and I don't want to go back, so ... Anyone looking to hire a mechanic?

We've landed safely in Paris. Well, we landed safely in Paris several hours ago, but jet lag is a thing and I just wanted to sleep before we did anything else. I did text my dad, at least, so he wouldn't worry, before I buried my head under the pillow. I just knew I'd wake up to dozens of messages otherwise, each more frantic than the last. And I couldn't do that to him. Everyone and everything else, though, could wait until we got some sleep.

I've never been to a wedding before, so I'm still a little bit unsure of how I'm supposed to act when I get there, or what I'm supposed to wear. Tama luckily took care of that for me, so I get to be surprised when I unpack over what all he picked. I do know I have options for whatever feels most right at the time, which I really appreciate more than I can say.

And now I'm awake and absolutely starving. And it's three in the morning here. Why are timezones like this.
