Six stitches from a damn water balloon. At least it's in my hairline, so I don't have to worry too much about a scar, but still. Ugh. They had to shave part of my head. I've got today off work and school.

Yeah, so I woke up in space in my Dreams. In space. On a ship. With some guy I followed home from a club. I guess he's an alien?

I had no idea I was so skanky

As far as "shakedown" cruises go, this was one for the record books. Some kind of strange cloud headed towards Earth, and the Enterprise went to intercept it.

Turns out it was the remains of one of the Voyager probes we'd sent out in the 20th century. Some alien race had discovered and reprogrammed it. Spock said they were living machines.

Thousands of starships couldn't generate the power this thing put out. We penetrated the cloud as it entered the Sol system with every intent of destroying all life on Earth.

Spock attempted a mind meld with it, and determined that its weapon was also a data gathering tool as well as learning its origins.

The probe was at the center of the ship, which had been built to help what the aliens assumed was the probe's purpose. To learn all that is learnable. In the process of learning, it became sentient, and it returned home to discover what the point of its existence was. Only it couldn't believe that primitive organic lifeforms could have created it.

We defeated it when the new Captain of the Enterprise merged with V'ger, evolving it into a new plane of existence. To add humanity's ability to feel and to believe to it's existence and it's logic.

His loss to Starfleet is incalculable, but I wonder if maybe he got the better end of the deal.

You know what would be nice? Being able to automatically control the weird powers and shit I get from my dreams.

Now I have to go and buy new curtains and find a way to cover up the smell of burning fabric before dad gets home.

Mareena wont sleep. No matter what, she's changed, she's fed...but she just...won't sleep. I don't even know what's wrong with her or how to even begin to soothe her.

Percy is a Greek demigod. I know that here, but I only just discovered that in the dreams Apparently Juno might have swapped my one friend with my other friend. I hope Jason's okay. I wish I didn't miss him and Frank right now We sort of figured it out as part of Juno's general plan for us while we were flying to Anchorage.

Once we got there, we took a taxi. The Hyperboreans are amazing...even if one apparently tried to step on me once. I didn't remember it before, but I remember it now. Also this Alaska is a lot more similar to the one I knew, but it's kind of weird for my dream self to see how all of the little things about it have changed. Then again, it has been 70 years since I've seen it.

And we have to go

The only problem is now I have a super craving for blueberry pancakes.
