Anyone ever... roll over in bed, expectin' someone from a capital-D Dream to be there and bein' real disappointed when they aren't?

It's still a little weird to me to post dream related things to a bunch of people I don't really know, and yet also kind of oddly comforting knowing I'm not the only one who's dealing with them. Even if I have been a bit on the quiet side lately, I've been trying to figure out what dream me's deal is and it just seems to be a whole lot of high school repeated. Not all of it's bad, those were some of the best times with my friends but it just seems sort of uneventful to write about on here.

That's weird. My dreams started repeating.

Like, I had this big, insanely wild dream of an epic battle between good and evil, and then when it ended, I started dreaming little dreams from all through my first run. It's disorienting, really.

Does that happen a lot here?

I had a dream...well, I tend to dream somewhat regularly but I think I had a DREAM.

Turns out I am part of a group of heroes known as the Crystal Gems. Although, I'm not completely like them cause I'm only part gem...and my bellybutton isn't really a normal one, dream-Steven has a quartz gem where his bellybutton should be.

And it gets better! Dream-Steven can summon a shield with the power of his gem! Although, he's not really good at it, yet.

I feel like a dork cause it sounds like I am talking about myself in third person. Still, it was so cool. Helped fight off a huge centipede-type creature and then, ended up with a tummy-ache from eating way too many Cookie Cats which are ice-cream sandwiches in the shape of cat faces. Oh, and dream-Steven is 13...I want superpowers! :(

I'm pretty glad that Thanksgiving is this week. I could really use the time with my family since I haven't seen them in a while. Hopefully Magnus will be able to get me home...otherwise I'm stuck spending the holiday alone I do find it kinda shitty that while we celebrate the day when Native Americans and Europeans came together that all the protesting at Standing Rock is escalating. The irony isn't even funny.

I'm sure that you've noticed but Derek's gone.

In just a few more days I'll be off back home to New York. It'll be nice to spend the time with mom and help dad with the shop. Not to mention all the Black Friday shopping that's to be done! It's even started showing there. I'm hoping that there will be more when I land.

Does anyone have any fun thanksgiving/holiday traditions?
